Had an issue with another Ford dealer, spoke with Paul the shop foreman and he was more than happy to lend his expertise regarding my experience with issues regarding another dealer. He was understand, polite and honest regarding my issues and how I should and could go about resolving them. I believe he is a true ambassador of the Ford brand as I was so embarrassed by the service received at another dealer I never considered buying another Ford. He had taken the time to discuss and educate me on the process and also listened to my issues in attempt to resolve them, thanks to him I am able to better understand my problem and now can confront it with confidence with the knowledge gained from our discussions.

I will never ever ever get a recall fixed if it isn’t broken already. I brought my car to Ford Wednesday night and left my keys in the drop box for front brake hoses and a shifter bushing. It was suppose to be fixed next day. Well they broke the bleeder valve on the calliper and my vehicle was disabled till they got a new after market calliper from Napa Friday morning. So I take the vehicle and then I start hearing something rubbing. So I call Monday morning and I’m told they can’t get my vehicle back till the 31st, 10 days later. So because I considered it a safety issue because they had been working on my brakes I was able to drop it off Monday afternoon so they look at it Monday afternoon and find nothing wrong with their work and I had to wait till about noon Tuesday for the shop foreman to road test it. So I get a call from the service adviser who informs me that it must have been a rock and it probably feel out when they took my brakes back apart and the noise is completely gone. So I attend at 2:30pm Tuesday to pick up my car. Still no paper work for the work was done so I get in my car and leave and I had not even left the parking lot and the noise is still there but louder and more frequent. So I return to service and have to wait around again while I wait for the shop Forman to go for a ride with me. Well we both hear the noise loud and clear and return to the dealership and he takes the vehicle back in the shop. Well no loaner was available and no rentals available at enterprise so I have to take a shuttle home again 4 shuttle trips all together after they discovered what the issue was . When they changed the brake lines I guess they didn’t attach the clips that attaches them to the vehicle suspension. So I was told it would be done by 9am wednewday and a shuttle would be at my house. Well by 9:45 I still hadn’t heard anything so I call my advisor and they were just pulling it out of the shop and road testing it. So an hour later I get a call back and my vehicle is ready. So they send the shuttle. Well no apologies for the poor workmanship to begin with that caused me the loss of my vehicle for 4 days. And they used almost half a tank of fuel road testing it and I don’t know what else. The only shinning star was Amanda and the shuttle drivers. I had taken 4 of them all together My first advisor Rebecca doesn’t return calls or answer them. Well Amanda was the opposite of that. She was thorough and thoughtful. She returned calls, she made calls and she answered calls. Was super friendly and took good care of me. I hope they keep her as she’s only been there 3 weeks and I hope she never changes cause her customer service is bang on. Rebecca I heard her bad mouthing me when I started to complain about them breaking my car and not providing me a rental. She didn’t know I was behind her. Ya I heard you Rebecca. The only reason . I have a 2 star was Amanda and the shuttle drivers or if I could have given a zero star I would have. When you break someone’s car, provide a loaner. When you completely mess up a job provide an apology. And if you burn through all kinds of gas having to repeat a job you should of done right the first time, provide a courtesy fuel card. This puts me off buying a ford in the future as they have so many recalls if I bought one I’d need to get a recall fixed again. And based on this experience I’ll never get a recall fixed again.

Usually I’m satisfied with the service but today was off. Appointment for 830am didn’t get back till 4pm and all work wasn’t completed. Follow up Appointment was booked for 8am. At 2pm truck still was not In. It’s over 3 hour round trip. Obsessively they don’t value your time. Go to Belanger ford in the future. Lesson learned.
