Not impressed with extended warranty

We bought our Honda Pilot 2017 on March 2018 with 5 years extended warranty. My husband brings our car today to have it checked as it shows blinking “check engine” and experiencing some hesitation when we need to accelerate. They charge us $177.33 for diagnostics because the mileage was over 60k??? Whats the point of extended warranty? I bought the extended warranty to have some peace of mind during the 5 yr period while we are paying the car. I am very dissapointed with the service. Will not buy a car anymore here and never the extended warranty.

I just purchased a 2017 Honda HRV EX and had the most amazing experience with Alana and Norman. They are fabulous at what they do and helped me out immensely! A big thank you to them. I have had a rough go with vehicles in the past but this process was quick, easy and painless. Would highly recommend both of them! Loving my new vehicle!

Winnipeg Honda is a first-class dealership. Andy Chan is the best sales consultant you could possibly have when buying or leasing a vehicle. He is honest, fair and professional, and he looks out for us and takes very good care of us. He is always willing and able to help out with anything we may need, going the extra mile. We are long-time clients of Winnipeg Honda, and we never hesitate to return and talk to Andy whenever we have a problem, or its time for a new vehicle or lease. The service department is top-notch too. Their prices are fair, the staff are accommodating, and they take good care of our vehicle whenever it needs servicing. We love our Honda CRV! It is beautifully designed with many great features, reliable, and a real pleasure to drive!
