It was one of my first times dealing with this location. Service advisor was pleasant to deal with, but shop experience was the same old GM dealership garbage..... car went in with a faulty fuel injector, which was a warranty job. Long story short, car went into shop with full tank of fuel, left with 1/2 tank of gas because of "test drives" which i approved but didn't realize how frequent or long they would take place. They test drove just over 100km which seems a bit much, the knucklehead mechanic dropped his tools on the painted surfaces under the hood which of course chipped the paint, which was noted with the service advisor (nothing was done or offered.... of course, lol) but none the less.... come on, be better! Found the usual greasy finger prints on the steering wheel, door handles, shifter, and random buttons on my dashboard and inside the car which showed the guys couldn't give a rat's ass to go wash their hands before handling a customers car. The door panel kicked in, and the rocker panel was nicely scuffed with boots. The car is in brand new condition with ZERO blemishes..... either way, the shop experience was nothing shy of underwhelming. Good job, careless mechanics 👌👍 it's always nice to see some pride of work from "tradesmen" ... just not from dealerships, unfortunately. I guess money first, quality last ..... or what's the slogan at dealerships nowadays? Attention Jeff Penney (Owner): Since you enjoy responding with none constructive poor replies on here just to show a little fake care. Perhaps we can have a phone discussion? Lets see how good you are at your job... sir. My name should be in your computer file. It matches the displayed name on this review. Perhaps take a moment of your super precious time and give me a call. The car was a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze for verification purposes. Cheers, take great care!

$110 and 1 hour 20 mins wait for a standard oil change. Not a good experience.

I recently purchased a 2024 equinox EV. After owning the car for about a week I noticed several paint defects around the car such as bumps/contamination underneath the paint. I also noticed how horrendous the orange peel was throughout the car. I took it to Roy Nichols body shop where the manager looked at the issues I was seeing. He agreed that they needed to be fixed and that the orange peel was especially bad compared to other vehicles on the lot. I was informed the service manager needs to ok it before they could proceed. The service manager tried to tell me originally that if I wanted help I needed to go to the dealership I bought it from, that it is their responsibility to do a pre sale inspection. He then agreed to fix the issues under the paint however repeated several times that it wouldn't look as good as the factory paint. He refused to fix any orange peel and said that is just GM's standard of quality and they will not fix it. When I asked if it could be escalated he said they will just tell me the same thing. When I said I wasn't happy with that answer he kept repeating "what do you want me to do". I said to call someone that can escalate this issue, his response to that was "who do you want me to call". I feel he was being extremely arrogant and unwilling to help. I then went to nurse another dealer in Whitby. I told them the same thing and what the service manager at Roy Nichols said and the way I was treated. Right away nurse escalated my issues to the district manager, and less then a week later reached out to inform me they were repainting my whole car as the paint was not up to GM's quality and would also fix the orange peel. They also apologized for how I was treated at Roy Nichols. I then decided to give Roy Nichols the benefit of the doubt and bring them the car again when I was having another issue with the wipers were hitting each other and the driver's side was leaving a large gap. When I got the car back the trim piece under the wipers was not re installed correctly. Had to wait for them to fix it after I pointed it out to them and then when I went to leave after they fixed there was white lithium grease all over the inside of my door panel. Once again I gave them another opportunity to prove their service and brought the car in for a 3rd time for my driver's seat, seemed loose causing it to rock and shift and make a clicking noise. I was told to come at 8am so that my car would be first in and we could avoid getting me a rental as I had to work in the afternoon. They didn't take my car until 9:30am. Then around 10:30 they came and told me that the technician inspected the seat and their conclusion was that the issues I am experiencing are "normal". I then argued that I've had many cars and it is not normal for my seat shift and make loud noises while driving. They then said they could order a seat base as a "shot in the dark" and that they were not sure it would do anything, also it wouldn't come until January or later. Going forward I will not deal any further with Roy Nichols nor will I refer anyone to deal with Roy Nichols as customer service is not their #1 concern. I would suggest to anyone reading this comment to seek out other dealers in the area to avoid any aggravation as I have experienced repeatedly with Roy Nichols.
