It was easy to work with the sales staff in getting this vehicle. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. Thank you for everything.

Our salesman was great... Everyone one on site was very helpful... But we were very disappointed when it came time to take the car home and there were some issues and then we had to make a service appointment once we got home.... That put a bit of a damper on the process, but our service man was lovely!

purchased a kia optima for $15699. Was not informed there was after market installations in it.Returned the car and bought a truck from you. Was charged #1500 for the return. This is excessive. $500 seems more reasonable. I was and am unhappy

Needed a car in a hurry, was treated with the utmost respect, sales personnel worked with me to obtain the car I had chosen. No matter how many calls I made, my questions were answered promptly. I took a friend with me to pick up my new car and my friend was really impressed with the treatment we received and mentioned that when she needed a new car she would come to Haldimand Motors.

I have been a customer of Haldimand three times now and they have never disappointed me. The customer service is always excellent, and they always seem to exceed my expectations. I recommend them to all my friends.

We had purchased 2 great vehicles in the past 4 years from Haldimand Motors and still have them. We had great interaction from everyone we dealt with and recommended Haldimand Motors to relatives and neighbours, who have also bought great vehicles there in the past two years. However less than one week ago I purchased my third vehicle for me, as I will give one of my current vehicles (Nissan Altima, purchased at Haldimand Motors), to my son who just graduated from University. I chose to select a vehicle from Haldimand Motors' AS IS lot, because I work only 4 KM from my home and would rather my son have the newer vehicle. I test drove the 2001 Olds Aurora (174k KM's), on two separate occasions and researched the vehicle reviews (the Olds Aurora 3.5 L model had excellent reviews) so I made an offer to purchase. We agreed that I would pick-up the vehicle on the following Wednesday and that the temporary plates would be acquired for me on that Tuesday, so I would have 9 out of 10 days (duration of temporary plates) to get the vehicle safetied and e-tested and stickered. Well on that Tuesday, I called Haldimand Motors before 9am, to inform them not to get the temp plates that day, as I would be unable to pick-up the car until that Friday (work schedule was changed). I was told that the temp plates were already acquired yesterday (on the Monday)??? So I had to book time off work to pick-up the car on that Thursday, July 9. On that day, I called 4 hours before I was to pick-up the car to inform them (spoke to a nice lady there). I arrived at Haldimand Motors just after 4pm. I waited patiently behind two other couples (who were requesting to take vehicles for test-drives). There are usually 3 or 4 sales advisors behind the counter...that afternoon, only one. When I was next at the counter, another couple had arrived and were behind me, they were acknowledged by the salesman, before he looked at me and he told them to have seat (they were picking-up a newer vehicle. I then informed the salesman that I was picking-up a vehicle, he said that they were a bit "shorthanded" and to have a seat while they got the car ready. In the interim the couple who arrived behind me were told their vehicle would be pulled-up front. I waited for about 15 minutes, then the salesman called one of the car-jockeys (young man probably in his early 20's) to the counter the salesman said to him and I quote "can you help out by getting this AS-ISER" (referring to the As-is car I purchased), so the young man asked if it was "still across the street", he said check in the back first (I had called at 12 noon on my lunch break to say I would pick-yp at 4pm). So the young man drove the car to the front, screwed in the plates, and I paid the salesman by cheque over-the front counter??? not in a cubicle as everyone else had. The salesman then said thanks and as I was heading out the door, I saw that the price stickers, were still on the inside of the windshield...so I turned and pointed it out to the salesman...he just shrugged it off and said"oh those will come right off, no problem doing it yourself"... not a nice buying experience at all. Now for the worst part of my dilemma. Today was my first day off since I purchased the car (5 days ago). I booked a safety inspection and e-test with a garage. After 2 hours I got a call from the mechanic, saying he had the worst news. I went down to the garage and the vehicle was up on a hoist. I was shown the brake-lines rusted almost all the way through, the faulty air-shock on drivers side, the front brakes, calipers, rotors and pads needed replacing. I was willing and prepared to spend $ for most of these items on a 14 year-old car. BUT the worst problem was the rusted and rotted front SUB-FRAME, which in the mechanics opinion, was not worth repairing or buying that car. So I paid the $100 for his time and pondered what recourse to take. I was advised by several people to just sell it and make it someone else's problem, because the car looks good, rides nice, has a strong engine and transmission and everything like A/c and power options all work fine. So I probably could re-sell it and even make a couple hundred dollars. But I am not that person, who could deceive (intentionally or unintentionally as in the case of Haldimand Motors in this case.) So I called Haldimand Motors at 1pm today, before I chose to make any decisions...they have always been fair, honest and have shown how their integrity breeds success in business. I spoke to a lady first, explained briefly my dilemma, and she put me through to Brian. I explained this entire situation to Brian, with the complete understanding that I am fully aware of the risk of an "AS-IS" purchase. He said I should have brought the car to a mechanic before I purchased the vehicle...I totally agreed, BUT if I had done that....and the rusted, rotted sub-frame was detected, and I told Haldimand Motors that fact....would that car still be for sale AS-IS??? I think the response is YES. It seems that Haldimand Motors is now hiding behind that FACT that AS-IS = your own risk. That should not be the case, with me a 3-time customer or anyone. Brakes, shocks, o2 sensors, no problem spending $ on an as-is purchase...but a rotted sub-frame vehicle should not be on anyone's car lot, it is a death-trap. So Haldimand Motor's representative for this complaint, Brian, offered me to take it there, for a "second opinion" and pay only $80 for that inspection. This really concerns me because how could any service garage, mis-diagnose a rotted and rusted-out sub-frame??? Do I really deserve to be treated as such a fool, to offer me a second-opinion at Haldimand Motors service, for only $80. That was an insult and this third-time purchase, has been a nightmare from the start. So I am left owning a car which I have spent exactly, $1961, which I will most likely have to donate to charity, the proceeds from when I have it sent for scrap.

would have been a 5,but for two reasons. first the oil in the crank case was a liter over filled . secondly I went back 3 days after I took possession to ask about 3 rust blisters on hood ,after I payed a premium for the Diamond Coat I was told it was beyond warranty for the body and nothing could be done. "Take it up with Diamond Cote when it breaks through." I paid good money for a vehicle and rust protection just to be dismissed with a "sorry" no offer of help not a hint of what can we do to help . A month and a half later I feel more frustrated with my vehicles appearance I took their name plate off my car
