Good deal, so-so experience afterward

Buying car was a pleasure. When I went to pick it up they seemed like they didn't really care. I also called a couple of days later about an owner's manual for my vehicle, and basically they really didn't care much. I felt I got a really good deal, but service after the fact was disappointing.

Sales staff were very polite. More contact with me would have been a bonus regrading an update on when my car would be ready. I was told that the repair on my car would be looked at on Wednesday and then told maybe Thurs.. I was not updated and I had to keep making calls to the dealership to know when it would possibly be ready and when I should put insurance on the car. I was not aware that I had to provide license plates for the car. More personal - one on one contact and information is what buyers like in salespeople and I did not feel that I was a priority.

Peter was a great guy to work with in getting this new car. He made each step along the way easy. Getting financing was the big issue and he did it! Thank you so much for being so professional and funny (humor is key with me !) I would buy again from this dealership.

I purchased a black, 2012 Chevy Cruze. I took it for 2 test drives before doing the official hand shake with George Byleveld. He was kind and very helpful to myself and my husband in the decision to purchase this car. We went over all the details of the car and he took us out to assess the car before we left to make sure that when I pick it up, it will be exactly how I want it. I couldn't be more happy with my experience. Thank you George & Haldimand Motors!

Throughout my experience with Haldimand's I've had to reach out to the sales person to get updates. I had to reach out to find out if I was approved for financing, to ask for an update on when the car will be available, and when the 'week' waiting period was almost over I had to reach out again. At some points the salesperson did not even return my e-mails. I have never heard of a dealership taking up to a week to check and clean the vehicle. A family member purchased a vehicle on Saturday, and they took delivery of the car Monday morning. Urgent attention needs to be paid to your turn-around time. I called the office to inquire about my car and heard the occult-like phrases of 'up to a week' and 'we work as a team' being repeated over and over again like a parrot. The salesperson (different from the first) was rude, interrupted me, and would not give me a chance to speak. I was finally notified that my car was ready for pick up (the secretary was also rude). The interior of the car seemed clean, but the outside looks like it was washed with a dirty cloth and water. The engine was absolutely filthy, no attempt was made to clean it up. Overall my experience with Haldimands was disappointing and unsatisfactory. I will not do business with your organization in the future, and will definitely not recommend your organization to others. I urge management to seriously investigate the issues with their staff, and better train them in customer service delivery. As previously stated, the constant repetition of phrases like 'we work as a team' and 'up to a week' have an occult feeling about them, and sound so rehearsed and scripted.

I bought a 2011 Jeep Patriot for my daughter and we traded in a Chev Aveo that was previously purchased at Haldimand. I received a very trade in value. Our prior experience with the Aveo at Haldimand brought us back for the Jeep. I love Haldimand due to the fact that they thoroughly inspect vehicles and make all necessary repairs prior to delivery of the vehicle. I would definitely buy future vehicles from Haldimand.
