Disappointed

A piece of rubber trim is missing off the drivers side roof. I was quoted a diagnosis at 39.95 would be required plus the strip and installation. A diagnosis? This is ridiculous. I priced out the part elsewhere it is $19.00 and change. I can glue it on myself. I also asked for a quote on damage to the left front fender (end cap). I was quoted on the end cap plus additional parts. When I asked for an explanation your staff complied and came out to the vehicle to explain the additional requirements. Upon review of the bumper, it was obvious the additional parts where added on unnecessarily. This was explained, "if this was an autopac claim you could get the additional repairs done". I indicated it was not an autopac claim as I had caused the damage myself. I was extremely disappointed to know that Murray will "beef up autopac claims". This is the type of "business" that gives car sales a bad name. By the way Dave and I make decisions/purchases together. The truck is actually my vehicle.
