Typically great service with accommodating shuttle service. Booked appointment 5 days prior and on arrival this morning there was nothing in the system about appointment. When booking, the service person over the phone seemed inattentive and just prior to hanging up could heard yelling and joking to a coworker. Not professional. Previous good experiences. They still scheduled me in but surprise my truck is not done today now. Dealt with Clint in service on arrival and he was great. Knowledgeable and seemed like he actually cared, also was a tech for many years and it shows!

Brought my 2017 chevy truck in for the back window recall (third visit) since the sliding back window started leaking, discovered when I washed it, and they were the last people to touch it so I figured they could take a look at it... I told them about everything and where the water came in and how it was all over the back seat (have pics) but the service advisor said they would have to test it themselves and possibly charge me for it... then she tried to add in an oil change service on the work order when I specifically said I only wanted the recall looked at on the phone! Trying to sneak it in before I sign it and leave. I understand its a business that needs to make money but its hard for a customer to have trust in them when that happens. Not that customer service really treated me with respect since I bought the truck new and I'm only 25... why would I buy a truck there again anyway? To top it off, I left the truck there for a full day and I get a call at the end of the day saying they didn't have time to get it in.... SERIOUSLY?!! That's why I made an appointment in the first place!! She hands me the keys and does not mention booking another appt... its been a week with no call back. DO NOT GO TO SMP FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Get a truck and get out

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me on the phone. I am sorry your recall did not get completed on the drop off day but, understandably, cold weather emergencies put us a little behind during the extreme cold period that we all experienced recently. As our Service Manager explained when he spoke with you earlier, the recall did not involve the rear window, per se. The recall only involved improving the electrical wiring leading to the window, and prior to that, pulling a fuse from under the front hood. As we discussed on the phone, it is quite possible to push water past a window seal with a pressure washer by putting the nozzle up close it, and I suspect that is what happened when you were spraying it. I apologize if there was any misunderstanding. Please let me know if I can help with anything else. Regards, Michael Kocsis, Assistant Service Manager, SMP.
