Excellent support and work from the SMP Service Dept. My 2011 Silverado check engine light and then fuel pump light went off close to home (thank goodness). I called right away at 4:37. RJ said he could get the truck in the following morning. CAA towed the truck late that night. Rebecca from SMP called and explained the problems and said it would need to be in until the next day. However she called late in the day and said it was ready to go. I got up there early the next morning, paid and drove away confident and happy. Thanks SMP! When I’m ready for a new to me vehicle I will be back!

Service was not worth the price, $110.00 for an oil change plus another $50 for a tire rotation that doesn’t even come a brake inspection. My vehicle report card was never gone over with me even though it was noted my coolant level was low, the cashier said as long as I kept my receipts and paperwork I can get my oil change done elsewhere and I will be doing that because I know I can get both an oil change and tire rotation for that $110 and actually have a service advisor go through the report card with me.

Told them that the car needed a new sway bar bushing again. It’s had it replaced 2 times already under warranty, they tried to tell me the car needed new shocks to the tune of $2300. I’ve been working on cars since I was 13 and to have them tell me something else was wrong when I already knew the issue was a slap in the face. Don’t recommend them at all and will never buy a car from there again. In fact I’d probably never buy a Chev product again. 2023 Chev Bolt. I will go elsewhere where to buy new bushings and change them myself rather then let a stealership work on my car ever again.

Hello Tyler, thank you for completing the annual multi-point/health check inspection on your vehicle as General Motors of Canada recommends. You are correct, on previous inspections we did replace front stabilizer shaft links under warranty. On this most recent inspection, we checked the front links, of course, and found that they were not loose or defective. Nevertheless, both front struts need to be replaced. We also recommended replacing the cabin filter because it is dirty. I have reviewed the quote that was presented to you. The cost to complete these repairs/maintenance is $1,240. This includes parts, labour, shop fees, and taxes. I apologize if somehow there was a misunderstanding. Please let me know if you want to proceed with the necessary work. Keep in mind that by using GM OEM struts, you would have a 3-year/60,000km parts and labour warranty. That is, if the part fails in less than 3-years and under 60,000km, not only is the part covered but so is the labour to remove and replace it. If you have questions, or need more information, please do not hesitate to contact me. All the best, Michael Kocsis, Assistant Service Manager.
