Master brake cylinder replacement. SMP repair 900 for a car two months out of a five year warranty, and 72000 km. Replacement part only guaranteed for one year. Didn't see a problem with a five-year old car needing a part that should last much longer. Do not care about quality of their vehicle or customer only business for service centre. Never buy a chev.

Hi Jean, I am glad we had the opportunity to speak on the phone. As we discussed, your vehicle has been extremely reliable, and the cost of repairs and maintenance has been well below average for any make of vehicle. The factory warranty on the part we replaced expired more than 2 years ago, and you declined extended warranty when it was offered to you, so the repair was a customer responsibility. A one-year warranty that includes not only the part, but the labour to replace the part, is one of the best warranties in the industry, and it is not an estimate of expected part life. Odds are you will never have to replace that part again. Keep in mind also, not every part on a vehicle will last the entire life of the vehicle, and mechanical maintenance and repair are a normal part of vehicle ownership. We do appreciate that you purchased your vehicle from SMP, and that you service it here. I would be more than happy to discuss any concerns further or provide additional information. Bought a 2019 silverado from Samantha at smp. The experience was the best I have ever had at a dealership. Samantha is very knowledgeable about the products and was more then happy to answer all of my questions. They are quick and accurate at what they do and they will not stop until you are satisfied with the service they have provided. I recommend seeing Samantha at smp if you are looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.
