Subject: Complaint Regarding Fraudulent Sales Tactics and Lack of Follow-Up I purchased a new Honda HR-V last year, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply distressing. I left the dealership feeling intimidated and taken advantage of. The dealer added over $1,000 worth of accessories to my bill — items I neither ordered nor needed. These additions were never disclosed during our negotiation. I only discovered them on the day I came to pick up the car, at which point I felt trapped. When I questioned the unexpected charges, the dealer responded arrogantly: “If you don’t want to buy the accessories, don’t buy the car. I’ve been selling cars for 25 years and have many customers. I can sell this car to someone else right away.” At that point, I had already sold my previous car and secured financing — backing out was no longer an option for me. To this day, those accessories — which I never wanted — are sitting unused in my storage. To add insult to injury, the sales manager promised to follow up with me regarding this issue. That follow-up never happened. Frankly, this feels like premeditated fraud, and I’m extremely disappointed. If the dealership is unwilling to provide a resolution or refund, perhaps the dealer himself can sell the accessories on Kijiji for me — since he was so confident in their value.

This is the first Honda we purchased and it will not be our last. The Civic hybrid is beyond impressive. Jaiden from Winnipeg Honda was our sales rep and he provided exceptional service throughout. He answered every question and located technical material for various options we were considering. At no time did we feel pressured, and every commitment was fulfilled as promised. A special thanks to Manoo in their financing department - he went the extra mile to ensure we had all the paperwork necessary. I have put protective film on at least the face of most of my new cars and regretted both times I decided not to. We used Winnipeg Honda's in-house detail team to add some Honda branded flare and Xpel protective film - all products were installed perfectly. IN closing, we would gladly recommend Winnipeg Honda as a source for no-hassle, fair-priced, quality automobiles.
