Just bought our new Mazda CX-5 from James here. The entire buying experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we drove away in our new vehicle was great. James was informative, personable and easy to negotiate with. Fantastic overall experience.

Went in looking at a CX9 on a Monday after work. We are already Mazda owners. We were also the only customers during our visit. They couldn't start the car that was blocking the test drive car. Test car was very low on gas. One tire was low. After the test drive, we walked back into the dealership and waited another 10 minutes for any salesperson to speak with us. The one who came on the test drive was parking the car. He said he was new-couldn't answer any questions about the car. Couldn't tell us what the interest rate for financing was. No glossy brochures or breakdown of which models came with which upgrades. Would not tell us the price of the car. He wandered off, and we waited 15 minutes for him to come back. We decided to leave. We had been there for over an hour and still didn't even know how much the car was! As we were leaving, we saw him talking to a financing guy in an office. Finance guy was angry we were leaving. We asked them to call when they sorted themselves out. The next day we bought a mid-level model at another dealership. Took 45 minutes including a test drive and approval for financing. Never got a call from Barrhaven Mazda.

The sales process was good.. until we got to the finance office. The up-sale of the extended warranty was painful, and I have already had issues with it. Being told it covers things that it does not can be an awful experience. The finance manager Eli just straight up lied to me. I have vented my frustrations to the manager(Mark), and was supposed to receive a call back.. never did. I honestly did business with this dealership hoping we would do so again in the future, but I am not sure that will be the case.
