Was told there had been a cancelled order on RAV4 XLE but I have to be there asap. I was ok with taking half day from work and traveling 110kms. Was told the addons will be $1,200. Was okay with that as well. What I was not okay with was selling me $2,100 worth of addons pushing the price close to XLE premium. I told them to honor the quote given with $1,200 add ons, but the stealership (Seeing I came from far) wouldn't budge and didn't agree to reduce a single dollar. You have to be transparent on the final price before a customer decides to come and not play this "come to the dealership fast" card and then add stuff based on the situation. And folks who are waiting for the car, chances are they ve already sold it to someone else with marked up add ons.
