Everyone at SMP that we dealt with was all very friendly I was very impressed. Thank you Eben for the great service and helping me with my first car. Will definitely be recommending SMP to my family and friends.

I had a completely terrible experience with purchasing a brand new vehicle with this dealership. I bought the car in January, and being that it was the middle of winter and I live over 6 hours away, I paid an additional $600 to have it shipped. Once they received payment(CASH, not financed.) Any form of customer service disappeared. I was told one day shipping, and it took three weeks! for my vehicle to arrive. I understand that when using a third party shipping company, that sometimes things are out of others control. However, this is the shipping company the dealership chooses to deal with. I did not even have the option to set up alternate shipping with a company of my choosing.I was told I would be provided with a tracking number, this did not happen. I had arranged for a certain dealership here in the city for the car to be delivered to. Again, this did not happen. They shipped it to a different dealership. The problems just kept on from there... Once the vehicle arrived, there was scratches underneath the front middle skirt. I was told the car was sold as is!!! Since when is a BRAND NEW, not USED vehicle sold AS IS?! completely disgusted by the lack of costumer service and support from GM. I will definitely not be recommending this dealership to purchase vehicles from, as well as I will be very hesitant to purchase a GM vehicle in the future. Very unfortunate as my wife's family all own GM vehicles. lastly, when checking my spec sheet, I had noticed that there was a $500 engine cover option that was to be in my car. Guess what?! upon checking with my local dealership, what do we find? you guessed it, the $60 STOCK cover. Another phone call was made to SMP, and they did ship the $500 cover to me. Very shady SMP! Salesman was Dan.

Hi Martin – it is normal that shipping is additional when a vehicle is sold and is required to be shipped (the advertised price of the vehicle does not include shipping to different locations). In addition, we had worked with local dealerships to arrange with one that could go over the vehicle with you when you came in as well as ensure that the vehicle was washed again prior to delivery. When shipping a vehicle, it is not as simple as Purolator or FedEx when the parcel is shipped one day and delivered the next - delivering vehicles can be a challenging process at times, especially when winter conditions exist. We apologize that the correct engine cover was not sent with the car – we were happy to send the correct one when we were notified of the oversight. Thank you for your concerns.
