I took the car in for its winter tuneup and I had the front brakes redone at the same time. All efficient and fine!

I had to bring my car in due to a part that was not manufactured properly at the factory for my 2017 Civic. Stephanie was truly amazing both times I had to come in and was extremely accommodating in allowing me to recieve a rental car so I could make it to my job at the right time. She was patient and understood what I was asking for when I came in for my service vists. She will be the only person I ask to deal with in the service department as she is excellent at her job. She went above and beyond what I expected.

Xavier is a very nice person and as far as personality, friendliness, etc he is 10 out of 10. However, I feel that I was not given all the information I needed to make a fully educated decision. Had I been given this info before I signed a paper of what I believed our 'deal' to be, I may have chosen to buy a used car rather than lease a new one. When discussing my disappointment with Xavier and Chantelle, he stated that he was not required to tell me there would be more costs as soon as I went into the finance area due to all of the insurance options we are provided as 'options'. I had asked him if there were any other hidden costs or would the amount per month we were discussing stay the same. He knew once I went into the finance office that she would be telling me of the insurance options, which did make a difference of $40 per month to my payment. Since he was not required to tell me (which is Honda's issue I realize, he is working within the system you provide), he didn't. I felt that this was not 100% on the up and up and as a result no longer trust he is going to tell me everything I need to know. Though he was very honoring once I expressed this and gave me a discount on winter tires, I still think this Honda system of not telling the client everything, even when they think they've been told it all because we sign on a 'deal', is really not transparent business practices. I sign a deal to trade in my car, know exactly what my payments and taxes will be. We shake on it. Deal done. Or so I thought. Show up 2 days to pick up my car later, bow on top, big hoopla, only to be led into the finance office (didn't even know my financing had been approved) and shown all of these other 'options' I should have if I lease which lead my payments to be a bit more than I could afford. Looking back, I should have walked. But how do you do that once everyone in the building is already celebrating your 'new car' with a darn bow on top? I realize this isn't as much Xavier or Chantelle as much as it is THE SYSTEM ITSELF. Honda, you claim to have the highest rating for customer service yet your system itself is set up to be manipulative and non-transparent. You then require your employees to get a 10 out of 10 rating or they will get in trouble. So then do you not want true feedback from the customer? I was told by both Xavier and Chantelle that I needed to give a 10 out of 10 or else it would cause them problems. I understand why they are saying so, but I did not experience a 10 out of 10 service so why should I have to lie? And if the Honda Canada system truly is that ridiculous that you will give your employees 'trouble' for making mistakes rather than just ensuring better business practices, then your 'best customer service' rating is a sham anyway, because people are only giving 10 out of 10 because they are pressured to. Overall, this whole experience felt manipulative with the system of making the deal then finding out that there were more options (and like you're not going to take a wear and tear protection insurance on a leased car). Then being told I needed to give a 10 out of 10 or else woe to the employees feels like more manipulation to me. Unimpressed with Honda, would not recommend any friend or family member go deal with Crown Honda because I can't trust this system. I have bought cars before (Hyundai) and did not have the same experience at all - knew exactly all the fees including insurance options before I signed ANYTHING. There were no hidden costs after the fact once committed at Hyundai. With Crown Honda, keys to my old car were handed in and there is a bow on my new car and I am there to pick it up, only to find out the 'dealing' hasn't even finished. Left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I left disappointed rather than being excited with a new car. Do better Honda. Fix the system.

My husband brought the car back on a Monday after being serviced on a Saturday and we were told it could not be looked at until Tuesday or Wednesday after we had it towed there. Took it to the Nissan dealership and it was looked at right away and he was out the door within the hour. Also when we initially brought the car in for servicing we were told it was really busy with other customers. So does that not make us a customer?

They told me it would take 1.5-2 hours, spent 4 hours from 10 to 2, with no information, nobody knew anything or where was my car or why it was taking so long, no lunch, or anywhere where go to eat, nothing. Everything is super expensive, almost 400$ and they just put fluids for 7k km, which means visit Honda 4 times a year, spending more than 1000$ a year in maintenance is something incredibly too expensive for the most common car in the country. Also 7 years warranty bumper to bumper do not cover anything, no fixing scratches, no fixing tires, no replacing key batteries, which surprise is dead in less than 2 years...what is your warranty for exactly...? like I said in previous surveys buying a Honda was the worst thing I ever did, and when I have the chance I will trade for another vehicle.

My experience buying a car at Winnipeg Honda was amazing. From the moment a had spoken with Robby to the last minute I left finance. Robby not only helped me choose the right car for me, but exceeded my expectations with showing me my new car. I am really enjoying my new purchase! Thank you.
