Palladino Honda

With mixed feelings im writing this review, I purchased a Honda Accord they had listed on Auto Trader, had an amazing inter-action with the sales person, super friendly and professional. I live 3 hours away and requested detailed pictures and car fax, they sent me everything I asked for. I have never bought a car with out physically looking at it but was told the car was "mint" , i asked to send me all the pictures of the "bad",, I was good with what I was told and all the pictures. I asked if they could hold the car,,, due to COVID lock downs and they didnt have any problem with this. ( above and beyond request 5 star) , i continued communication with the sales people and last week we drove the 3 hours to Sudbury to pick up the car. With in 1 min. of seeing the car I knew something was wrong, it had been painted, this was one of the questions I asked,, "had the car been painted" " no I was told. Also there was a 4 inch dent on the passenger side quarter panel. So I stand there,, the car is plated and in my name,, I had insurance on the car,, and the bank draft in my pocket. I looked further and noticed the drivers side had just been painted and the sales person seemed shocked as well as me,, he inquired and found out the car had been painted a week before I arrived, so the pictures that were sent to me 3 weeks previous did not tell a true story of the car. I looked further at the repairs and noticed the quality of the repairs were horrible, i pulled out rust from the wheel well, the car had been stuffed with body filler, the paint job on the repair was equivalate to a back yard repair person with tape lines left from the new and old paint. Someone at this dealer made a big error by listing this car as "mint" , the sales force are given a fleet of cars to sell and have all the details of the cars, this was NOT the fault of the sales person but someone being untruthful above him. Who ever reviews these cars and price estimates the value of these cars made a big error and for some reason felt the car needed to go in and get rust fixed with out disclosing to the purchaser this was being done. The over all experience was strange for both the sales and my sell as the purchaser, the sales person was 100% honest with me during the transaction. We both felt bad, I was able to walk away only costing me 7 hours of driving and a full day. I sure hope someone flagged this error and the car was whole saled to the auction, the car had more issues but not worth spending the time documenting this. my review follows like this: SALES : 5 STAR SALES & INVOICING & LICENCING : 5 star plus plus APPRASASER: 1 STAR over all Google rating: 4 star Just like any rating, people seem to get off on slaming business's and poor ratings, the cor team at this dealer are amazing, above average. Right from the lady who took my call when I first phoned to walking about from the sale it was handled correctly. BUT,, its this type of car that gives used car sales people a bad reputation. Whole sale used cars PLEASE Thanks to the sale force at this dealer, we all learned something over this. I still recommend dealing with Palladino Honda. Carl Styan
