I don;t think that I would have bought an extended warranty guaranteeing me no mechanical and technical issues for 7 years/120k km if I knew that i would not receive regular updates to the navigation system as well as maintenance of all car parts under the ecp program. i am not impressed with my sat/nav and find it unreliable. i had phoned customer service at toyota and was told that all I had to do was ask for the 13.1 update or whatever is available.

I had my Rav in for an oil change at the quick lube. The experience was good. When I got home I noticed that on the invoice it mentioned that synthetic oil was used in the oil change I normally use regular oil. I called back into the service advisor to check on synthetic oil as I'm not familiar with it. My only concern was that I wasn't sure that changing from one type of oil to another was of any concern. The service advisor assured me that there was no problem with switching from one oil to another and that if I wanted to switch back to regular oil at my next oil change that would be fine.

Appreciated the consultation with the service technition and discussion of the issues. Yet, I would have liked a detailed listing on paper with the cost of all the procedures. I had missed understood what I had and had not paid for. That was my mistake.

The overall experience was good. However I felt very rushed when I came to pick up my car! I understand that people are busy but even recording my questions and offering a follow up later would've made me feel less like I was in the way.
