Words of precaution. Friend of mine purchased a used vehicle at this dealership. She bought a Honda at this dealership thinking that it would be a safe and pragmatic purchase. However, at her first service she found that the car had outstanding recommend services due at the time of purchase which she was not aware of. This will cost her close to two thousand dollars and as she is on a fixed income she can not afford the recommend services. We talked to the service manager about the issues with hope that we can have it rectified. The answer was unfortunately negative and we were told that the vehicle was sold safetied and that's all they do. So please be aware buying a car here to ask what recommend services are due before you make your decision as it might cost you more than you plan for. Honesty is hard to find even at a certified dealership it seems.

Thank you Brantford Honda for giving me an amazing deal on my car. Special thanks to Hunter for making my buying experience super easy and convenient. He's a wonderful salesman with excellent customer service skills. I received an excellent customer service throughout my whole buying experience and even after receiving the car he was kind enough to ask me how I liked the car and how it was running! I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

If you take your vehicle in and are given a long repair list that can be done the same day while you wait. Leave and get a quote elsewhere. Ensure what is suggested on the repair list you actually need. Ensure the rates, fees and material costs are actually competitive. It should not be beyond your thought process to assume the vehicle Technicians and Service Advisors are on commission and "finding issues" is encouraged by management. Yes other dealers appear to do it also. This was an expensive lesson for me letting my wife take the vehicle in and basically our Christmas budget blown on repairs. I am not a negative person giving negative feedback. Read my reviews I tell you when a business is great. Brantford Honda taught us a lesson which is "get quotes", "don't assume what is needed is actually needed". If times are tough for you like the many of us and budget matters make sure you are spending your money wisely. Make sure what you are being advised "you need" make sure you actually need it. Ensure you are paying competitive rates. Regardless of what is written below in any reply by the Honda internet reps trying to put a spin on this review. The dealership does not care. When my wife pressed for feedback days later after absorbing what she paid and she inquired "was everything needed"? She was ignored. When she did not let it go and pressed again for feedback the basic reply was "she could have left".
