Purchasing my van was painless and a little exciting. The vehicle I was buying was exactely what I wanted. Being handicapped was the long wait, between test driving the van, then driving home with it.The whole process took about 4.5 hrs. So all the long sitting put me in a lot of pain. Overall however I extrenely happy with my purchaes. Thanks SMP

Lack of Service

I had a door handle replaced in late March and the key lock did not work since then. This week while rolling down the window there was a clicking noise and the door locked. It could not be opened in any manner. Took it to the service and and they were able to fit me in. The work done was to remove the handle and remove two locking rods from the handle on the inside of the door. I received a bill for the work done even though they had worked on that exact part earlier. They said that a clip had come off the door handle lock and that is what caused the problem. This indicates to me that they do NOT warrantee the work done by the service Tec's. It is extremely unlikely that I will ever purchase a vehicle or have any work done by SMP ever again. I can not recommend this Company to anyone and will be sharing this experience with friends and family. B. Byers
