They installed a new bathtub for us. We were told it would take two days, but after day one the tub would be usable that night - it was not. It had no taps and it was full of supplies and tools. Installation was done the next day, but we had an issue with a large bubble in the bottom of the tub. We called bathfitter and they said it would take six weeks and someone would call closer to. No one came or called. We called again and this time someone came. He inspected the tub for quite some time, and agreed with us that it wasn’t right and someone would contact us. We gave it a couple weeks as it was the week before Christmas, but heard nothing. So we called again. They said that the guy who came to our house wrote that we had no issues and everything was fine, which it was still not. So they said they’d send someone again. Again some time passed and nothing. So AGAIN we call and AGAIN no one has come. The people you talk to on the phone are lovely but no one follows through. We like our tub but still have the issue. Definitely wouldn’t use or suggest due to horrible customer service Addition to review- I reviewed this a year ago and bathfitrer said they’d reach out. As usual, that never happened. We’ve had nothing but trouble with our tub this year. All the silicone keeps peeling off and now our shelf is falling off. We followed all bath fitters cleaning instructions. We didn’t bother calling bathfitter because they never send anyone out anyways. Definitely will not be using them again!

I purchased a 53-year old home. The tub was in particularly bad condition and no amount of cleaning could make it look decent. The shower was not much better. My son recommended Bath Fitter because he had them redo his bathtub/shower. I contacted Bath Fitter Dartmouth. They sent an estimator (Steven). Unfortunately their installer in Cape Breton had been off work for several months in the winter, so installations were delayed. I was SO glad that I waited. Their installer, David, was a meticulous, professional craftsman. He worked right into the evening to finish what is an outstanding job. Photo attached. I am repainting the bathroom to do justice to his devotion and dedication to doing installations the right way. If I could give Bath Fitter, Dartmouth, and David, ten stars, I would. It was worth every penny. It is also a team effort. Bath Fitter supplies quality products and they stand behind them and respond to their customers. I was quite a nuisance wanting to know when my new tub/shower would be installed. Melissa was such a great help in their office. Highly recommended.

Service I used is Bath Fitters Dartmouth location. They were supposed to install new tub and surround according to sales associate likely June. We are at 12 weeks and they don't return emails. Last time they wanted to do a new test kit about a month ago . They called and told me June 9th for first test kit appointment( I drove 3 hours to be at cottage to be there), they did not show up. I called rebooked June 13th. Supposed to order new test kit have not had a call in a month they would contact when in. Now we have waited 12 weeks....And they don't call back or reply. I should have called a contractor in to replace tub and surround. Company or sales associate do not reply. What should have been a nice process has turned out to be frustrating.

Bought this 1978 house 8 months ago. Bath tub looked brand new. Turns out its a Bath Fitter job from about 6 years ago. They did an amazing job hidding all the rot!!! Now I have to do a full job, the right way. Bath Fitter.....never!!

I would do zero stars, but it will not allow me to post unless I select one star. I had two bathtubs/walls installed and was told to wait 5 days to clean to make sure the caulking cured properly. By the time I cleaned, I found numerous scrapes on both tub walls and very poor caulking. When I called for service, I was told to use toothpaste! I can only assume this is not the first time they had received such a call. I called back again, and could not get past the person answering the phone. Between weather and holidays, it took almost a month to get somebody to show up to repair. I called multiple times and asked to speak to the owner or manager and in the end it was repaired but still haven't received a call back. I had Bath Fitter install in my home in Ottawa and received exceptional customer service. Even though I had paid $2000 more for less options here in HRM, the difference in customer service was like night and day. I do not recommend using this service.

I have been waiting over a month for my $1000 refund and no one will return my calls they said they would mail my refund to me but that was over a month ago. I am very frustrated as no one will return my calls l think my only recourse is to go to small claims court.
