While Toyota Canada deserves a one star for the way they've been treating their Canadian customers, I have to give a five star rating for my dealer, Brent Bell, who kept his promise with updating me monthly for my long overdue RAV4 XSE Hybrid, after the initial 6-8 month wait time came and passed. I definitely wasn't happy having to wait 15 months by the end, but I'm sure it must also have been frustrating for him as the powerless middleman between Toyota Canada and his waiting customers. I'm very happy with my new vehicle and with his help in getting everything processed thru, and hope that my experiences with the Service department will be fine, despite the less than promising reviews left here.

Very unpleasant experience buying a new vehicle for many reasons. The reason why one star was not given was because of friendly Administrative staff. 1) When the vehicle was delivered, the Body side molding was peeling off on the end of the molding. I notified the dealership and they were able to fix the issue. Proper inspections should be completed prior to delivery. 2) The Security Lug nut adapter to remove the tires was not present in the vehicle at the time of delivery. In the event of a flat tire, it would be a hazard to not be able to remove the tires. I notified the dealership and they provided a new one. 3) At the time of delivery, I was not notified that the bug deflector I ordered was not on a vehicle I had ordered 6 months in advance. 4) Non-responsive and salesperson and manager with regards to emails notifying them of issues. This unfortunate experience was much different from stories I have heard from other Toyota Dealerships in the GTA so I was quite disappointed with the purchasing process.

Recently purchased a new vehicle here less than a year ago. The sales representatives and clerical staff deserve a 5/5, however have had a few visits to the service department which is why I am providing a 1 star review. They always seem to be unorganized and lack details when attempting to explain things if they attempt to try to explain anything at all and outright deny any wrong doing if errors are made.

Always available and easy to get a hold of for questions. Despite the issues with getting vehicles out to customers over the past couple years they remained in communication regardless of any changes in status of the order, this did well to make me feel like I wasn't just forgotten. When the vehicle did arrive they were very helpful in getting the paperwork done before hand, and knowledgeable when giving the walkthrough of the vehicle. For a first time buyer of a new car this was a pleasant experience.
