I brought my car in to have my winter tires removed and stored and have my summer tires put on. I also had a few additional concerns about my car. I appreciated that Crawford listened to me and that he called later on in the day to explain next steps for repair. Although I didn't like getting the news that my car would require a costly repair I appreciated the comprehensive way he explained the need for the repair and the possilbe consequences for putting the repair off.

Warranty replacement part...

I called Crawford and explained that my driver side interior door handle was peeling and cutting my hand. Crawford notified me that the warranty only covered parts until 60,000 kms and my car has just over 60,000 kms. I explained that I was in need of an oil change and would like to drop the car off for a one time service call. Crawford agreed to look at it for me and see what he could do. I went in that evening and he assessed the handle, obtained authorization to order and agreed to submit it for warranty replacement. I was very happy, but still a little sceptical. When I went in for my scheduled appointment (at 7am in the morning), I was greated by a smiling Crawford. He brought my car in for me and set me up with a shuttle to and from work and had it all done, clean and waiting for me when I returned at 3:45. I am very happy with the service that I continue to receive from Crawford and Legget Chevrolet. Needless to say, I was a very happy camper when I left the dealership. I applaud Crawford for his continued Customer Service Excellence. Thank you again!!

HE HAD THE 2 ISSUES CHECKED OUT & BOTH WERE REPAIRED.

THE FIRST ISSUE WAS FIXED UNDER THE WARRANTY. A NEW THERMOSTAT HAD TO BE PUT INTO THE ENGINE. THE SECOND ISSUE WAS BUYING A NEW KEY DEVICE WHICH BROKE AND A NEW ONE HAD TO BE ISSUED. THIS WASN'T UNDER THE WARRANTY. I'VE BOUGHT SEVERAL CARS FROM LEGGATS IN RECENT YEARS. A FEW CARS WERE IN FOR VARIOUS REPAIRS AND OTHER CARS WERE PRETTY WELL MAJOR REPAIR FREE. ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10, I'D GIVE LEGGATS AND THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT A (6), WHICH TO ME IS JUST ABOUT AVERAGE. CARS TODAY, AREN'T BUILT SOLIDLY LIKE THEY USED TO, AND THEREFORE SO MANY REPAIRS OR RECALLS ARE ISSUED NOW, WHICH IS A SHAME. I MAY BE TRADING IN MY 2011 CHEV CRUZE THIS YEAR SOMETIME, BUT NOT TO SURE IF I'LL BUY ANOTHER LEGGAT OR GO TO ANOTHER DEALER THIS TIME AROUND. *****CRAWFORD GREIG THOUGH, WAS A GOOD SERVICE CONSULTANT***** . After a few minutes of looking around we were approached by a sales rep. He listened carefully to what we were looking for. Took us into his office and because he was new to the business, if there were any questions we had that he could not answer he sought help from his manager. We had a good experience, the sales rep was helpful and very courteous. Gave us the time we needed to think about the purchase. The vehicle was ready for pick-up when we came in to pick it up.
