If it could be a 0 star, it would.

On top of this awful plant closure by General Motors, Kyle and I have been slapped with a bill of $1857 for our 2014 Chevy Cruze TURBO. Kyle and I were driving when the check engine light came on, on December 20, 2018. A WEEK over warranty by time and under our allotted Kilometers by 20,000. Our not so good friend Steve Good at Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac basically told us F*** You (and your loyalty) and did nothing for us. Good thing this was my job, cause I dialed GM Customer Care immediately. (Before even authorizing the repairs). Christeen at GMCC told me that it would be at least a week before any communication. It's the holidays, so it is what it is. We were told to go ahead with the repairs, and we would continue with the case. Today we got an e-mail from Steve (after I emailed back requesting a response) saying this: Good afternoon, I spoke with Christeen on December 21st and informed her that the vehicle was beyond the Manufacturers Powertrain Warranty and that the customer had authorized the repairs to be completed. We competed the repairs on December 21st and the vehicle has been returned to the customer. We will not be refunding the $1851.37. Regards. Steve Good Talk about a generic response. Apparently, we aren't good enough to even have our names mentioned. I am appauled at a few things: 1. That General Motors does not stand behind their product 2. That a Turbo on a Chevy Cruze TURBO could die at 140,000 KMs 3. That Customer Service is no more 4. That people can be so cruel (especially around the holidays). Kyle and I have taken our vehicle to GM for almost all repairs and maintenance. We have been loyal. The generation of my family before me has been loyal. The generation before that was loyal, and even the generation before that. We took the vehicle to Nurse, despite my family member working at another GM dealership close by to continue that loyalty. My heart was crushed with the news of the Oshawa Plant closure. Now, it's on fire and I won't stop.

It took 7 hours to have my winter tires put on. I was told it would take 2-3. This was not our first bad experience with this dealership. We will be going somewhere else in the future. Edit: I was contacted by the manager following my review. He said they expect a high volume of customers getting tire changes at the end of October due to warranty reasons. If this is known, then why was I told it would take only an hour or two? If they are aware of the number of customers booking appointments at this time of the season and try to accomodate as many as possible in a day, don't lie and say it will take an unrealistic amount of time. Be upfront and say it will take all day. Some people make plans around the timeframe provided.

I gave the service shop another chance after a previous bad experience. Big mistake! I called them and setup an appointment to fix our vehicle, and had the car towed there the night before. They were supposed to start first thing in the morning. They did nothing for almost 2 days except hook it up to a machine to get the error codes. After 2 days they had no clue what the issue was. They kapt asking me the same question over and over and over "did you put anything in the gas?"........the answer was no......every single time they asked. Their conclusion was a bad tank of gas. They drained the gas from the tank, put more in.....charged me $400, and said it would get better after sometime. Well a week later I had to bring it to a real mechanic to get it fixed. He figured out what it was within an hour. Spark plugs needed to be changed. One of the spark plugs wasn't firing and blew through the side of the casing. When I told him about my experience at nurse, he started to laugh. Wasted $400 and 3/4 of a tank of perfectly good gas Won't make this mistake again! Take your vehicles to a real, experienced mechanic. He knew exactly what was wrong just by reading the summary on the sheet from the dealership

I would Never buy a vehicle from nurse again

December 13, 2018

I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado which was in the body shop at nurse and first they lost my lock nut for my tires which they gave me an old used universal lock nut then when they installed my tunnel cover back on it leaked so bad that the entire truck bed was soaked then after them trying to put the blame on me which doesn’t make sense I’m guessing there trying to get out of a mistake they made instead of solving the problem I had to go to the general manager of the dealership who then told the bodyshop to replace the tunnel cover it which they did but did a very bad job so much that the cover does not close unless you slam it down and it still leaks then they tell me there not going to fix it again keep in mind the truck and cover are still under warranty so I talked to the owner who gave me the same attitude of get off the property and we’re finished with your vehicle now I’m dealering with Chevy canada and making a complaint all I want them to do is their job I will never go to back to nurse chevy again worst experience I’ve ever had with a vehicle and the vehicle is now my problem to fix out of my own pocket while it’s still under warranty
