Not the best place to buy your car from. Hamburg honda is better, if only i knew this before buying my car from from Henly. This was my first time buying a car from the dealership so i didnt quite know how things worked. So, i spoke to them and eventually came to a decision to buy a 2018 honda civic that i liked. There were some cosmetic damage like scratches which although minor were still visible and the passenger side mirror was cracked. They told they would fix everything before i purchase the car, they replaced the side mirror but ran magic ink on the scratches and said thats the best they can do. Since i bought the car from the dealership i believed everything about the maintenance mentioned on the paperwork, however, wheb i took my car for servicing at Hamburg Honda, they said there is no sign of any of the maintenance which was mentioned. Lastly, just after 6 months of buying the car, the battery died. Its not like i left the car sitting in the garage for days, i make sure i start the car and leave it running for atleast 10 minutes every two days in case i dont drive. Despite all that, one fine morning the battery just died... had to get a boost and a new battery from Niagara battery & tire. Having said all that, it was a big lesson for me and i'll definitely do my research first on the dealer next time before buying a car in the future.

Hi Tamzidul, we are sorry to see your review. As per our records the vehicle was Honda Certified, meaning everything checked out over and above a regular MTO safety. We also performed quite a bit of work to make sure the car was delivered to high standards. The battery was tested and approved at the time of purchase as we ensure each car is well maintained upon delivery. Each dealership uses its own operating system, therefore Hamburg would be unable to access these service records. As per Henley Honda records, we performed an oil change, four-wheel brake service, brake fluid flush, alignment, wipers and also replaced his a/c condenser. The a/c was under warranty but the maintenance side we paid for was close to $1000. As for the scratches, we did everything in our power to remove the surface damage on the vehicle, including buffing and polishing it. Unfortunately, we are unable to make every scratch disappear but we did everything within reason to ensure customer satisfaction. We do our best to ensure our used cars look great, however scratches are hard to cover up unless the vehicle is painted. Won’t recommend.. went for a B service minus oil change.. which means only a brake service which took the whole day, while I usually know that I would get it done in max 2 hours from my regular Honda service center.. they weren’t transparent in letting me know that another issue that I had reported was not looked at, until I asked when collecting the car at 4.30 pm. I had booked the first appointment of the day, had dropped the car right on time in the morning at around 9.30 am. It was evident that the gentleman who took my car was trying to help as much as he could but the next in chain - both up the chain and down the chain weren’t budging in for some reason that I was not told.. Update: Saw your review response. COVID-19 is not a surprise to any business. My issue is with the transparency your business does not have. I remember you peeping out of your glass pane, when your staff came to you with my papers into your cabin, but why should you come and say an apology to the customer. You forced your staff to come to me and tell whatever you wanted to convey to me. I forgot to mention this - I was told that you guys do not do an exterior car wash as you and all other Honda service shops have started saving water.. for your kind info, I did have the service done from my usual Honda service shop on his time around and i still had my complimentary car wash.. Remember: Truthfulness and transparency are key to customer service..

I’m not normally one to review anything on google but this is something I feel people should definitely know about. I have a civic I took in for a once over checkup just to see how everything looks and if there is anything that needs to be done as my warranty was about to expire. My interactions with the dealer in general have always been good but this definitely rubbed me the wrong way and something people servicing their cars should know. Upon the completion of them checking it over the service advisor told me that my brakes are ready to fail and I should, and I quote “be afraid to drive my vehicle as the brakes are at a point where they could fail at any moment”. This was 6 months ago, I’ve been driving around fine and had my brakes looked at by another mechanic, who I know personally, and he said they are fine for quite sometime still. Will likely not need to be changed for another couple years. Being the person I am and doing my due diligence saved me the $2,500 plus tax they were going to try and charge me for a brake job. Do yourself a favour and think for yourself and talk to someone you trust before listening to these guys. Their service department is just out to try and scare you into paying ridiculous prices for work you DO NOT need on your vehicle. I can just imagine this happening to most people and they would just pay without questioning it because of their scare tactics. This may not be the case for everyone but this was my experience so just be careful. Can’t trust people these days. Service advisors name was Dave Lacroix. Happened early august of 2021.

The ministry of transportations safety limit is 2mm and your vehicle was at 3mm, meaning your brakes were at 20% life remaining. My experience at Henley Honda was a pleasant one. The sales person Javier was extremely helpful and personable from start to finish. I was unsure and never felt pressured. Todd the finance manager was excellent to deal with, honest and open. Together they made sure everything ran smoothly. I also had the pleasure to speak with Dan and he was willing to assist me anyway he could, very friendly! I was assured I can call, or come in anytime for any assistance in the years to come! The team here takes care of you! When I picked up my CRV it was a special moment, thanks to you all for making it a memorable experience! I am loving my new CRV!! All the best for us all in 2022! I am so happy that I came to this dealership today I was made to feel welcome and not like a burden I purchased a brand new 2022 Honda Civic lx black it was an amazing experience for my 1st brand new car purchase Joe Ferguson was an amazing sales guy He was not pushing at all he listened to exactly what I was looking for for he was very honest enough to confirm with me he was not a typical sales guy that you would see at a car dealership He took time to explain everything that I questioned and explained everything that would happen after and also told me that anytime I would need anything as long as I own the vehicle I could always reach out he made us feel very comfortable in our 1st purchase of a brand new car. Sean Moffett Was also amazing he was our finance guy he went above and beyond in explaining further things to me and possible things in life to help me build credit and sustain a good credit rating he was absolutely amazing and definitely is someone I would recommend anyone doing business with I am very pleased with the way the purchase went and how quickly it moved along I felt very comfortable walking out of there and I cannot wait to pick up my brand new car! I'm sure everyone who works here is absolutely wonderful but the 2 men that helped us out today are absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to purchase any vehicle
