Bought a new 220 Honda Odyssey a month ago. High pitched squeal in brakes hasn’t resolved. Call to book appt and told there are 4 factory recalls required. Booked appt. Drove from Kitchener for an 8am appt. Told that they don’t have parts for 2 of the recalls and to ignore the squeal in the brakes, “had another odyssey with 9000km with the same issue”. No offer to inspect the brakes, and told to reschedule. Spoke with others in industry who advised that the squeal from new brakes is typically resolved within first few hundred km. So now I wasted my morning to drive to brantford to be told there’s nothing they can currently do. I would expect a courtesy call the day prior to let me know to reschedule if the parts aren’t in, especially when I insisted on the phone that I only wanted to make an appt when all issues could be addressed in one go. Poor experience for my first service appt here
