Horrible experience. Zero customer service or care for customers. Our vehicle was broken into on their lot and proceeded to say everything was our loss and our fault and really didn’t care about the situation. Rick the manager hung the phone up while speaking of said situation. Very unprofessional people there. The second they took our money we didn’t have value to SMP

Hi Payton - we agree that it is an unfortunate situation. We have offered assistance in dealing with the insurance side of things, however we cannot take responsibility for the situation as your vehicle was not broken into, but it was left unlocked on our lot by you. Our Manager said goodbye and ended the phone conversation after being continuously sworn at. Once again, we agree that this is unfortunate and we have tried our best to help you navigate the situation.

Went in to sell my 2017 Ford escape, with approximately 211km. They offered me $4000 while blue book value is saying a dealer will typically offer $13,000 to $14,000. I was insulted when they made such a low offer. I have a good vehicle with minor damage, example a cracked tail light, and a few minor scrapes and dents from hail damage which a claim has been made

Hello - unfortunately due to the condition of the vehicle, we were unable to offer what you were hoping. As a dealership we are competitive with our offers, but we are not the end-user of the vehicle. We purchase vehicles and resell them, so we need to budget for any reconditioning of the vehicle. When a check engine light is on, we have to assume there is engine repairs and that is why the trade-in value was estimated at what it was.

It could have been appreciated if car owners are allowed to see the things done of their vehicles. Owners can nowhere verify if the job was really done on the car and not just on paper. Thanks.
