Had some work done at SMP on our Equinox. Dealt with Samantha Friesen as our Service Advisor. She was courteous, knowledgeable and did not try to upsell me on anything. We had used SMP Service in the past for many years. We were very happy. But a few yrs ago, when they changed owners, they lost our business. Samantha has won our loyalty back and when I can, I will be going back to them to work on our vehicles. The Service Advisor Mgr (did not catch his name) was a great guy to deal with as well. Well done SMP. You have good people back in that dept again.

Brought my vehicle to service department to have a recall issue addressed. Made my appointment 3 or 4 weeks in advance at which time I was told the job would take 15 to 30 minutes. They also called to confirm it the day before the appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told I would need to leave the vehicle, possibly overnight or longer (even over the weekend) as the service department was backed up. As I was from out of town, this was not possible.

Never been so brushed off in my life. I originally wanted a block heater, and did not know mine already had one installed. I mentioned in my email that I wanted a quote for rims and tires, never got one. I also mentioned I was having issues with my heated seats and my washer fluid not spraying. None of these concerns were handled. I was given a new appointment and booted out the door. I won't be returning. I was treated like a third class citizen for having concerns about my vehicle. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Did not have the best experience dealing with SMP. Got a new vehicle here 2 weeks ago, engine light comes on, took over a week to finally get into their shop and looked at! Would not recommend buying a vehicle from here. Didn't even top up the fluids. Cheap dealership.

The experience was good. Would appreciate if you guys could check the vehicle over and make sure the block heater cord is in one piece. The end is ripped completely off so I couldn’t plug it in when it’s -31. Minor issue but pretty inconvenient when you don’t have a heated garage. Don’t like being told “there was one when I looked at it last” won’t be getting any referrals from me. Definitely just feel like a dollar sign in your system.

Recently bought my 1st new car(an SUV) in Canada from SMP, the entire sales experience was amazing, thanks to Sales consultant - Amar Deep. He was accurate in sharing the information, proactive in responding to my queries, doubts and concerns. During the time of delivery as well he was very much on his toes to make the experience of delivery smooth and effortless. Additionally, all other staff as well were very friendly.
