The staff at SMP were very helpful and got me a good deal for my trade, and made sure my new truck was ready to go when I came to pick it up. They were not pushy and allowed me to decide what options/warranty to choose from. definitely would recommend them if you are looking for a new vehicle!

Smp definitely has some biases when it comes to customer treatment. Once you buy from them and have a issue with your vehicle, they pretend you don’t exist.

We bought a Silverado truck high country two months ago, everything went smoothly with the finance manager Logan and the salesman Jeff Bailey at smp motors. The problem now is this Silverado uses a lot of oil.We took it to smp service department to get checked out.the truck was in shop for two days, all they did was change oil and we were told to keep an eye on the oil which was a joke as that’s why we took it there in the first place.Rebecca at service is extremely rude and makes smp look unprofessional.Being from out of town they don’t provide you with a loaner they do shuttle you out of there yard one way.Out of this horrible ordeal with smp logan was very helpful I salute him.Jeff Bailey ignored my messages and phone calls which was unprofessional.Rebecca and jeff Bailey make smp look bad and unprofessional my smp days are done because of these two people.I wish people that buy here good luck it only takes a couple people to make a dealership look unprofessional.I’ve mentioned my two people that ruined my future dealings with smp.

Hello Richard, excessive oil consumption is rare in a 2020 Silverado 1500 but, nonetheless, your concern is taken very seriously. In order to pinpoint the concern, the vehicle was put on an oil consumption test as outlined by General Motors, and this starts with an oil change. When we examined the vehicle, we found it had no leaks, and that there were no diagnostic trouble codes indicating any system failures. Examination of components that can possibly be involved showed nothing was defective. A modern vehicle consists of 30 - 40 thousand separate components and, without proper diagnosis and stepwise assessment, it is not possible to determine which part, if any, needs to be replaced. I ask that you please allow us to help you. Your truck is under factory powertrain warranty. Both SMP and General Motors have the same goal as you. We all want any concern with your truck to be corrected. We must rule out certain possibilities, and formally document the extent of excessive consumption so that, if necessary, General Motors Engineering can be contacted and involved in the repair. We are looking forward to determining what is going on, and correcting it. Please keep in mind that you may go to any GM dealer for oil top ups, and oil consumption test entries. If you need more information, you may contact me directly. Sincerely, Michael Kocsis, Assistant Service Manager, SMP

Not so good experience we had at this dealership. We were looking for leasing a vehicle and we shopped around at other dealerships and had few good offers. The salesman from SMP asked us if he can matchup the best deal we have from other dealer, so we shared the deal from other dealer and he spoke with his supervisor and came with a good deal than the one we had… so we agreed to that offer and put a deposit on the vehicle, after few days the salesman called us and said people are looking for same kind of vehicle and we needed to act fast to go for the vehicle so we put extra deposit to confirm that we are going to buy that vehicle… meanwhile we spoke with the other dealer and canceled the deal they gave us previously since SMP salesman matched the same deal and the payments were lower… On the day of leasing the vehicle we came to know that the SMP salesman gave us very less quote as per the actual price of the vehicle and upgrades on it (we had a lot of text messages and phone calls between the first offer and the time of purchase the vehicle and the salesman never mentioned the vehicle price was more with its upgrades). So they have to increase the monthly payment, we were like you guys matched with the offer we had from other dealer and now when we cancelled that deal and we put more deposit then the other dealer asked us and this salesman was saying the monthly payment will be high??? We were not having any option and we didn’t want to start searching for a vehicle again since we hv spent lot of time and energy to come up with a decision. They ruined my financial planning. To show that they want to help us they lowered the monthly price and gave us 2 years leasing than 4 years. They said GMC offers 3 years warranty so those years will be covered in our 2 yrs leasing. We accepted that offer since we were helpless and confused. We felt we were tricked by this salesman and he didn’t regrade his action and approach to offer us a not so good deal.. and after the deal was done and received the vehicle the salesman never sent us a salesman-review email so where we can write what we experienced because that review goes to main boss and he doesn’t want them to know this, to cover up he provided us an Onstar subscription for two years which we didn’t ask for and it was not our requirement in a vehicle……not so good experience.
