Pressure, intimidation and bullying is there motives. BE CAUTIOUS Dealt with Miguel who put lots of pressure on deal and to verify trade in. After termination and request of refundable $1000 deposit to salesman, finance manager and general manager this is the response of Todd the general sales manager. Your new truck that you signed a contract on is ready once you find the factory rims for the trade that we now own. We made multiple attempts to get a hold of you on Monday to follow up on the deadline as we agreed both by phone and text with no luck. As we agreed once you get the rims for your trade-in, bring them with you and you can pick up your new truck. Reached out multiple times to Nicole the finance manager, Miguel, Todd, sales manager and also general manager without resolution of refundable $1000 deposit. Business makes customers dispute with visa companies to get reimbursement for their deposits Hello I have just got off the phone with my visa company, which has asked that I reach out to you again. Could you please credit the $1000 refundable deposit back to my visa asap. They are unable to open a dispute until you have failed to return the refundable $1000 deposit for 15 days of acknowledging the refund request. Miguel, Dillion and I put together a purchase with a trade in value of $45000 pictures taken of the vehicle Saturday March 23th. Expected pick up Thursday March 28th. Earlier in the day of 28th I began getting questioned about the winter tires on trade in. I continued to the dealership with trade in where I was told by Todd he wouldn't accept the trade without original rims and tires. I reconsidered the deal over the weekend and decided I would not add $4000 tires and rims to a trade that was appraised with winter tires. I terminated the deal through text and email on Monday April 1st and requested a refund of $1000 refundable deposit. Tuesday April 2nd I was made aware that Georgian Chevrolet had licensed and changed ownership over to their name without the signed ownership and bill of sale signed. After contacting Service Ontario, I was told to go to Service Ontario location and file a fraud claim against Georgian Chevrolet as without original ownership this vehicle could never be transferred. Transferring this vehicle left us exposed without insurance of our vehicle which still currently has a lien with Ford of Canada. Finally after 3 hrs at Service Ontario and 20 calls to Georgian the secretary finally got Todd to answer the phone so he could begin the process of reversing the ownership that had been fraudulently modified without writing consent and signed ownership from the owner. Have been dealing with Todd and so thankful I never purchased this vehicle as I would never support someone of his character and bullying tactics. I am asking again to refund my $1000 refundable deposit tomorrow that Todd referenced in his messages that is owed to me from Georgian Chevrolet so we avoid a transaction dispute. I understand the hardship from losing a deal, but it was your decision to change the trade in specs on the day of signing STILL NOTHING

After having my entire family, myself and my husband all purchasing vehicles from Georgian Chevrolet and going there for all of our servicing needs - after our most recent experience, we will never be returning. I got an email saying I was due for servicing based off of the year of my vehicle. We called and asked for such, in addition to a multipoint inspection and to look into a loud engine cooling fan. We dropped off the vehicle after hours and filled out the form checking “as per appointment”. We then are told they did an oil change, despite my oil being at about 60% and definitely not requiring one. We told them we didn’t ask for that nor did we need one, so they did end up taking that off our bill. We paid $2600 and were told the cooling fan was fixed as well as another leak, come back in 1000 km and were sent on our way. We drive the vehicle home Saturday and don’t drive it again until Monday. My husband goes to drive the vehicle to work and the car starts showing “reduced engine power” and nearly dies on him in the middle lane on the 400. He pulled over and managed to drive a bit further until it happened again. Thankfully a coworker was able to pick him up, so he left it at the carpool. After work, it died an additional 4 times trying to get it to the dealership (from Innisfil to Barrie). We call Georgian as this issue was never happening before, they say because they did “major engine work” they would like to look at it again. They then report we need a new battery, $500. I question why the battery wasn’t checked during the multipoint inspection, they stated they don’t check batteries during a MPI. We check their website where it explicitly says they do, and call back. They offered our next MPI would be free lol… they just caused our vehicle to die on the highway 6 times due to their negligence. We ask to speak to a manager, where we are then told they would like to keep it another day to look because they don’t think it’s the battery. Which is funny because they just told us $500 new battery would fix it. After looking at it for another day, they again say battery. We say thank you, do not do the work but we will never be returning. The manager asks if they can keep the vehicle another day (3 days at this point) because they are still not convinced the technician is correct in thinking it’s the battery. They do bring us over a loaner vehicle for the inconvenience, which was appreciated but does not make any of this right. We asked 3 times for the MPI report and were told they don’t normally do this, but eventually gave it to us. My sister used to work here, I know they do give this report. It was another lie, similar to “they don’t check batteries in MPI’s” After the 4th day there and Tim looking into it, he comes to the conclusion there was moisture in some pipe and they would fix it without charging labour, just charging parts. The car is now fixed and we are thankful for Tim for taking care of the car like it should have been in the first place, but very upset about this experience. After lies, car breaking down on the highway and then falsely trying to diagnose the issue on multiple occasions and trying to send us on our way - this was an awful experience and would not wish these games upon anyone.

Mac Cameron is an exceptional sales consultant! He has great communication skills, is friendly while being both professional and respectful, easy to work with and ensured that I was getting what I wanted and needed in a vehicle. He consistently checked in to make sure that I was comfortable and knowledgeable about pricing and what I was purchasing. It was my first time buying a vehicle through a dealership and as someone who shopped around at other dealerships before coming to Mac, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would no doubt recommend him to friends and family.

I have such a great experience with purchasing the car from Georgian dealership. From the very first moment we contacted sales representative Jonathan, he took such an excellent care of us. Purchasing a car can be stressful, but it wasn’t this time. We were guided step by step with very clear instructions. Jonathan was available 24/7 for us. We were treated with respect by manager Todd, finance was taken care by Rayan. Everything was done to perfection. I live in Toronto , but even for my car service I will come to Barrie. Jonathan made us feel like we are family. Thank you team from Georgian.

Georgian Chevrolet Dealership committed via a Quote and follow-up by Email that the price of a 2024 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate Quote will "include the extended warranty". After two of weeks and communication exchanges with Salesperson (Stephanie Boss), where the details of the quote were agreed upon, because the Sales Person was not responsive, the vehicle ended up being sold. The Sales Manager (Dilan Graham) proceeded to try to get another vehicle with the exact same specifications brought in, but this time I was asked to pay extra for the extended warranty. Upon me asking why the deal before was not respected for the exact same vehicle, I then was asked to provide all supporting documentation (even though the dealership should have all of these in their system) where the salesperson committed to this deal. The sales manager told me that if I produce this documentation, he will honor the deal. I provided all this documentation, and this resulted in more back and forth between the sales manager and me where he was questioning the validity of the commitment. In the end I was told that I will have to pay for the warranty extra, but he will lower the cost to his cost. I asked what is causing this given that a commitment was made in writing, and he mentioned that this is the best he could do regardless of the written commitment. I believe when a written commitment is made, it should be respected, so as a resolution I am looking for the Dealership to bring a new vehicle with the exact same specifications as before and honor the commitment that was made. This issue was escalated to the General Sales Manager (Todd Shivers) and General Manager (Jeff Copan) via email and neither of them answered any of the emails. This is after I drove from Toronto to Barrie with 2 underage children to see another car, and the same sales person, as I got there, with an appointment, told me I cannot see it as it it actually in service. This was a scheduled appointment confirmed 2 times. Absolutely unacceptable customer service one would expect from a corner store and not a GM dealership. I also filed claims with GM and BBB as this is not how a customer should be treated. I should not have to convince managers of sales people commitments when everything is in writing. The BBB had no luck reaching to this dealership for resolution. I ended up buying a RAM and I am not looking back. Its this kind of treatment that makes buyers change sides...congratulations to the team that drove me away....

I would no longer recommend the service dept at this dealership. I have serviced 2 vehicles here for a number of years. However there seems to have been some turnover in the department and I no longer trust that the service team isn't just trying to squeeze me for money by inflating number of recommended services at high costs. I will not return.

I am just going to say right from the start. Steven Rabey and Will Mcbride provided the absolute best car dealership experience I've ever had. I've had a few over the years; some good, some bad, but this team at Georgian Chevrolet knocked it out of the park. I placed an order for a brand new '24 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss. They kept me up to date on the status of my order as it was being built and shipped (which they managed to push along quickly through the build process, some people have had to wait ~8 months for these trucks, when I placed the order they quoted me 4-6 months, I got it in less than 2months). When the time came to finalize the deal it was an absolute pleasure without the typical pressures of extended third-party warranties that other dealers love to push to sell. They simply presented what accessories and additional services (i.e maintence packages, rust proofing, paint protection, matts, covers and etc.) they provide and at what cost those items and services are available for and at what cost they could give them to me at as part of the deal. It was a simple yes or no on my part and away we went, by far the smoothest, painless new vehicle purchase of my life. The complimentary baseball cap and travel mug on pick-up day is always an added benefit and truly shows the difference between dealers who care for their customers and those that don't; its a small consolation but it counts. I definitely would recommend Georgian Chevrolet and the team there to anyone and I will definitely be returning to buy another vehicle from them again one day.
