Laura Westlake is amazing! We can't thank her enough for helping us out with our food bank van! We use our van on a daily basis to do food recovery at our local grocery stores and we were worried that it would be out of commission for a week. Laura had it all taken care of in one day, plus she was able to help us out with a replacement key that we needed. It might be a bit more of a drive from Bradford to Barrie but it's definitely worth it for us to come and see Laura. Thank you, Laura, for your excellent customer service skills. I have had a very similar experience as a bunch of other people have, according to their reviews. I currently have a car I have leased for 5 years (never missed a payment), my husband has a Bronco which I am the cosigner on, and we also own a $60000 Jayco trailer. All of which we have never missed a payment. But according to their finance department, my job as an Uber driver for the past 5 years is " not relevant income ". And even though I was originally told I could finance a Trax for just over $200 biweekly, I was then told that I would have to pay $472 biweekly. This was told to me AFTER I put a deposit down. Obviously , I am not paying that amount for a Chevy Trax, so I asked for my deposit back. That then took numerous calls/messages/emails. I was told a manager would call me back, but that never happened. I continued to call and leave messages before finally calling and threatening to just come in person to get my deposit. Only then did I get an answer, from the receptionist, that they would mail me a check with my deposit. My advice, do not waste your time trying to deal with these people, it is a long, unnecessary headache. Just go to another dealership. Note to the dealership: Your specific dealership has some very shady behavior. I have already been to a different Chevrolet dealership in Newmarket and my experience has been very different, in a positive way. So like I said in the previous part of my post, I recommend going to a different dealership (like the one in Newmarket), for better customer service all around.

Hi Diane, Thank you for providing feedback regarding your experience here with us. When we quote a bi weekly payment, we quote based off the assumption that the approval will come back at the prime approval rate. Right now, it has been more challenging than ever to approve things like limo’s, taxi’s and uber due to the nature of those businesses. Those that typically could be getting approved due to their credit rating are being asked for things like co-signers and significant money down to lower their risk score. There are many factors that went into your specific type of approval, but that is confidential and can only be discussed with you privately. If you wish, we can have your finance manager reach out to you privately. I am truly sorry you felt you had to chase us for your deposit back, as we were still trying to work at getting you an approval. We should have communicated that better. Our goal is always to make sure our customer’s are driving away satisfied, and we are deeply sorry that we were unable to obtain that goal in your case.

Jonathan was super easy to deal with, I met him at the gym and mentioned I was looking for a vehicle, we exchanged contacts and he was very interested in actually finding the perfect vehicle for me and making sure he knew what I was looking for. He answered all my questions and it didn’t feel pushy or salesy. I was very nervous about buying a vehicle in general but thanks to Jonathan the process was really smooth. I will definitely be recommending friends and family members and if you’re looking for a smooth and simple buying experience, I would recommend that you talk to Jonathan !! Also want to mention that everyone at Georgian Chevrolet seemed extremely friendly and welcoming, he took me for a tour of the dealership and I got to meet a couple of the other people there and it was super refreshing to go to a dealership where everyone is passionate and kind and looks like they really enjoy their jobs and want to be there lol! Will be coming by often now to get all my work done here, the energy was amazing !

The service I received was completely terrible, not went right with the purchase of my truck from not having the ownership ready because the mechanic lost the paperwork, the finance department not putting the trade in of my other truck through properly and had payment for my old truck come out of my account. When I called about the response was “ didn’t you put a stop on the payments “ I’ve never had to do that with trading in a vehicle and it is the responsibility of the finance department, was told I would be reimbursed the money only to be reimbursed less then what was taken out of my account for their mistake. Tow mirrors were also purchased with my new truck, took 3 weeks to come in and when asked Steven if they were in was told I will have an answer soon, only to be left hanging without an answer. I found out they were in by calling the parts department myself. My truck was set up to go in on a Friday morning to have mirrors installed. Only to get a call later in the afternoon that they did not have the wiring harness required. So my trucked stayed there till Monday afternoon when I got it back and was told that everything worked. Only to find out that the spot lights on the mirrors do not work. Called Steven about it and was told he would talk with service Tuesday morning as it was after 5pm and no one was there. I still have not heard anything back on when or if they will rectify the problem with the mirrors that I paid extra to have installed by the dealership. I am completely frustrated and disappointed for such a large dealership to have such terrible communication and care for their customers who are spending thousands of dollars on vehicles from them. I will be filing a complaint with OMVIC and UCDA.

Bought a new truck from this dealer in May 2023. Was promised a dealer installed upgraded part that was part of the build sheet, when picking up the truck the part was not installed and was conveniently on "backorder". After numerous emails and being told they are still waiting, I still have not received the part I was promised 9 months ago. The part is in Stock at chevy dealers across Canada. Buyer beware. They have lost my business over a $50 part.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. purchased a truck last year around July. Was approved for a $70,000 loan making $18 an hour on a job I was only at FOR 2 MONTHS. I was somehow approved and once I had received a copy of my credit application they put I only paid $200 in rent every month (should be $800) and my INCOME WAS DOUBLED. I battled with the financing person there Mary-anne Conway and she basically told me to go pound salt and I apparently told her "I lived at home with my parents" and thats just what I told her. I had also contacted the Better Buisness Bureau about this incident and Georgian Chevrolet ignored them 3 times. Absolute scummy buisness they do there and its shoved under the rug. Now im in a truck that I shouldnt have been approved for and was screwed over. They will alter your credit applications and act like nothing happened. Dont go here

While I cannot speak to what you disclosed to us on your applications, we stand firmly that we would never force a customer into a vehicle, as it would be incredibly unethical. We as a dealership cannot make financial decisions on your behalf, and the monthly payment was disclosed to you on a bill of sale, that was signed by yourself. While it is unfortunate that you feel you are in a position where you can no longer justify the cost of your vehicle, we would be more than happy to have you trade in your vehicle and get you driving something that was within your new means and budget. Please remember that getting approved for a vehicle and being able to afford a vehicle are two different situations, and while we can get you approved, its not up to us if you go through with the purchase. We have reviewed the other reviews you have left with us as well, and our response remains the same. Thank you for taking the time to write this review, so we could clarify any misunderstandings revolving approvals and decisions to purchase.
