I stopped into Jim Thompson Chrysler just to look at vehicles after the ice storm, and Steve went out of his way to clean off three vehicles so I could take them for a test drive. He was super helpful and friendly the entire time. After about three hours, I drove away in a "new to me" Jeep Compass! This is the second vehicle I’ve bought from Steve, and both experiences have been fantastic. He’s great to work with and truly goes the extra mile. Highly recommend!

I was having issues with my vehicle, purchased from carloft, which is affiliated to Jim Thompson. There was an ongoing issue with my vehicle. It was thought to be resolved, however 6 months later the issue was still there. Jim Thompson service Manager reached out to me directly and has been absolutely incredible with making sure the issue is taken care of and that I get the best service. She's absolutely wonderful!

Bought a vehicle from Carloft in Kingston in October. Jim Thompson does all the inspections and safety stuff for carloft because they are in business together. My 2018 VW Tiguan was blowing thick white smoke. I told carloft. They told me to take it here. They told me they fixed it, was missing a part! They didn't fix it. Brought it in again, they told me nothings wrong with it. A few weeks later I got a check oil level light. Tried to get it in for a third time, wouldn't accommodate. My vehicle has not retained oil since the purchase of it in October. I've only driven 7k on it since buying it. Its in the shop again now. CERTAINLY NOT at jim Thompson, because the throttle is totally blown. Which I'm told is a direct reason why the vehicle hasn't held oil. So they fixed a problem they let happen and totally missed a completely different one. Honestly the worst experiences I've had. Do yourself a favor and choose literally any other shop for your vehicle issues, and shop literally anywhere else, except carloft.

Jim Thompson Chrysler provides the highest level of customer service and we were the benefactors. After going through a very frustrated situation where we were stranded on the highway in the rain, Ward's tow truck service (Lucas the nicest driver) brought us to the dealership where the staff and Shawn, the general manager, treated us like family. Shawn overheard that I was stressed out because I was missing a business meeting due to the incident that occurred. He quickly offered me an office where I could conduct my call so that I could continue with my meeting. He made my family comfortable offering food and beverages and treating them as though he had known us for years. It felt like a family owned and operated business. It wasn't just my Dodge Ram that got great care. Thank you so much!

Service department tried to upsell me (repeatedly) on "routine maintenance" that was not described in the Jeep Patriot Owner's Manual.

Brought my Ram in for a leaky rear window which caused power pack issues behind rear seat. They put a new power pack in and when I went to leave it wouldn't start or recognize the remotes. It was worse than when I arrived. I was told any further diagnosis would be at my cost of 139 an hour. New power pack but refused to deal with the leak which very obviously is a Ram issue. Pathetic service. Great example of big business screwing the little guy. Then they tried to sell me a 60 g truck. Very disturbing experience. Thankfully Cornwall Tire diagnosed and fixed the problem.
