This was my first purchase from Toyota Collingwood. Having not a best experience with Richmond Hill Toyota and Aurora Toyota, I was pleasantly surprised with friendly atmosphere at Collingwood Toyota. No pushing, no attempt to close the deal ASAP. Ted Rush, you are the best salesman I have dealt with. Thank you for your patience and professionalism. Will definitely recommend to deal with Ted Rush and Collingwood Toyota!

I wanted to provide a shout to Andy in the service department who helped me with my new tires/rims /sensors on my 2017 4Runner. He went above and beyond to ensure my complete satisfaction. I am blown away. I am one very happy (and new to the area) customer who will be back. Thanks again, Andy!

After issues with another dealership I decided to come back to collingwood. We had bought a 2011 used Venza from collingwood years ago and were happy with the sales at that time even though a month into owning it I tried the parking brake and had the rear rotors warp because the cable locked up, it was never checked before safety. They replaced those rotors and cables and made that right. We remembered that and returned with our 2015 Venza and 2021 Tundra Newer clean dealership, they wash vehicles after service. Our experiences here are both good and bad. Last year I noticed noise at 65kmh under the floor near the front differential in my 2021 Tundra and it was diagnosed by one of the senior techs. He noted there was a TSB calling for replacement in this case so that was done quick with no issue. At my next scheduled oil service I asked to have someone take it for a drive and check for noise shifting into 4wD, I just wanted a second opinion. A different tech took my truck for a test drive and then took me. While shifting into 4 low it was beeping because he was trying to shift while the truck was still rolling and asked me if it always beeps like that?? I said no it did not. It should not if you shift in neutral full stop the correct way but I am mot the mechanic. Leaving the dealership the dash lit up with a bunch of codes. I went back inside, they took the truck and reset the codes. As I was leaving with the keys I had to face off with this mechanic accusing me of causing the codes somehow with the service guy standing there. On my way home I realized all of it was on my dash camera in my truck along with the mechanic taking the truck for that test drive and saying how he was sick of the “truck culture morons an that this was just a f’ckin work truck”… I sent those video to the service manager who called to apologize and offered me a free oil service. We agreed maybe he had a bad day and we were willing to over looked it. I still wanted to come back to service our vehicles there. There was only 35,000km on the truck at this time. The next issue was what I really hoped was just a failed tailgate lift assist shock again still under warranty somewhere around 45,000km. After replacing the shock I was told the bad news, it wasn’t just the shock. The bushing in the hinge was weak and it eventually snapped. Worst part is the new hinge comes zinc coated and dealer paints it. When I got home after the initial tailgate shock was replaced I sent an email and photos of the scratches made while the tail light was left hanging by the harness on the rear fender while the shock was being installed. I buffed out the scratches myself and brought the truck back to have the hinge replaced. First visit was during an oil service and unfortunately the painter they use only painted one side of the hinge so I was told to come back in a week… The following week I returned and the hinge was replaced. I asked if they could take more care this time and to please not scratch it. When I picked up the truck all looked okay. I drove across the street and that’s when I put the truck in reverse and realized the camera did not work because they left the harness unplugged and pinched between the tailgate and bumper causing the next scratch I had to buff out myself. I drove back across the street to show them this and have it plugged in, that is when I was told to find another dealership because I was too particular… 7 months later the paint is now coming off because the painter that they used did not prep the surface. I have called 4 times, sent emails with photos, drove 2.5 hrs to let them take photos and have been ignored. I have done nothing wrong other than ask for my truck not to be scratched after the fact and better car be taken when the hinge was replaced but that didn’t happen. Asking for the services paid for to actually be performed should not be an issue. No it’s not a Mercedes Benz but it’s no farm truck. higher dealership price is just that

I wish i could give you ZERO.. Worst dealership to buy anything… Heights of non sense from the Sales Representative…. I walked in to buy a Tundra Hybrid Truck around 05:30pm n was dealt with such an unprofessional way that one could hardly imagine…… I got a phone call , went outside to answer and when i came back the sales rep literally stood up and had to audacity to say that “ WHEN YOU HAVE TIME THEN YOU CAN VISIT , PLEASE DONT WASTE MY TIME”… what are the sales reps there for??? Cant a person receive a phone call??? Is that the level of Customer service this dealership provides? Would never visit again nor would recommend anyone to visit.
