I had been very pleased with Collingwood Toyota for the first year-and-a-half I have used them. Shane and Kathryn were wonderful when I purchased my gently used RAV4 in March of 2022. Although I am a senior, I drive about 45 minutes from Barrie for my service appointments and tire changes. I booked in early August (knowing they get busy) to have my snow tires put on yesterday, November 7th. I arrived at 10:20 for my 10:30 appointment, having made arrangements for someone to pick me up while the car was in. We returned at 1:00 p.m., expecting the work to be finished, or at least almost ready. I was dismayed to find out they hadn't even taken it in to the shop yet! No message about a possible delay. I had no choice but to wait, as another appointment would take us well into December. Once the vehicle was in, they told me they couldn't find the wheel bolts, although I had specifically told the service person that they were in a pouch on the passenger seat. Apparently, they can only see red bags. I had asked for wipers to be checked and a regular service to be done. The car was in the shop for approximately 25 minutes. I decided to take my tires back home to have them stored and changed over elsewhere. They threw them on the back seat, effectively blocking the rear-view mirror. I had to ask them to move them into the rear compartment instead. I'm not sure I will continue to have servicing done here. I am very disappointed. Something has definitely changed.

I purchased a 2022 Tundra. I have had 3 poor experiences with the service department. No apologies for what happened. I only receive emails a few days later from each visit stating... "we would appreciate your response to the service performed on your vehicle. You will receive a second email if your chosen to respond". This only proves that they know something was done wrong and they prefer not to deal with it. If they respond to this review, aswell as other reviews, they'll say something like... " we don't have you in our system. Please feel free to contact us directly blah blah blah". Why don't you's deal with the issues immediately before waiting until a customer responds here ?
