I came to this dealer to see a specific car for which I had made an appointment. When I arrived, the salesperson immediately asked how much I could pay and completely ignored my stated budget, focusing only on what my weekly payments would be instead of showing me the car. I did not even get to see the car before he wanted to discuss the price. While showing me the listing on his computer, the conversation quickly turned unpleasant as he told me the car needed an additional $2,000 in repairs on top of the asking price to ensure it was in working order. In Quebec, this is illegal because dealers must sell cars in good working condition, and the “exclusion of liability” message they have on their website is not legally allowed. This dealer engages in dishonest practices, trying to squeeze more money out of customers. If that was not bad enough, when we went out to see the car, he tried to upsell me about 10 to 12 times before we even reached the vehicle I had come to see. He completely ignored my budget and attempted to increase the amount I would spend at the dealership by 30 to 40 percent. When we finally got to the car I was interested in, I asked how many accidents it had been in. He mentioned there were some minor accidents on the Carfax report, but the total value of repairs was over $10,000. This dealer buys poor quality cars and tries to charge far more than market value for vehicles they present as being in good condition. Do not come to this dealership. Do not waste your time.
