We had leased a 2016 CRV in late 2016 and I was in a bad car accident which resulted in it being written off. Tim and the rest of the staff were supportive, helpful and patient with us during the process of getting our new 2017 CRV. My family trusts the Honda name as it was a main reason I survived my crash. And, my two kids LOVE our new car

I went to Jonker Honda after visiting many different car dealerships and it resulted in a generally pleasant experience and leasing a 2017 Honda Civic - EX. (This is our first new car) For the sales department (front staff) I had a great experience with Gurdeep. He appeared genuine, answered our question honestly, and wasn't pushy at all. When picking out the trim level he gave us pretty great advise within our price range. He didn't overwhelm or upsell us. He was also patient. After the negotiations and figuring out our monthly payment we were welcomed into the financing department and had an okay time. The financing member put together the information for our approval and said they would get back to us with information the next day. Information about their *add on protection was a minimal overview and generalized. The finance member called us back and said I was approved and asked if I was going to get any of the protection packages. I said I was almost sure I was going to get the undercoat. When I showed up to the final signing I thought it over further and I decided against getting the dealership add-on but was told by the person the undercoat was already applied to the vehicle and that the expense was added on my monthly payment. That threw me off as I don't recall signing for the undercoat before they applied it and the monthly expense that came along with it. As well I was told that any overage for km was actually .12/km and not .08/km that it shows on the Honda Canada website. I was dissapointed that the work had been done without my written approval but at this point we were sitting so long I just wanted to get the process finished. Lastly the member convinced my wife that the additional protection (dent, scratch etc.) was important to get and by this time I was just worn down and wanted to sign and finish. We ended up with a higher than expected lease cost but in the end of the day it may work in our favor? We'll find out... It is still within our price range. The auto insurance department was awesome and I went with the additional Lloyd's replacement insurance which I believe is important in our day and age. The auto insurance member was very pleasant. In conclusion I got a great car with cool features within my price range and when getting another Honda we will be very likely going back to Gurdeep for our next purchase. The only downside to my experience was the finance department. If it wasn't for the finance department I would be giving this review 4.5 stars Cheers,
