We had an amazing experience dealing with the purchase of a new vehicle. Brad and Chad made the process seamless and made sure we were happy with every step of the way. I would highly recommend south trail Chrysler to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle.

I purchased a 2008 pre-owned LEXUS RX 350 from this fraudulent dealership SOUTH TRAIL CHRYSLER. I’m putting in this review to raise awareness of what South Trail Chrysler has done to me. This dealership sold me the vehicle with a major Steering fluid LEAK NEVER DISCLOSED to me. Salesman provided me with a false / deceiving inspection report which was lied in regards to the condition of the vehicle not disclosing a major leak the inspection report given to me had nothing wrong with the vehicle. Within few days the garage flood had drops of leaked fluid and very low fluid left in the power steering pump. Immediately took the vehicle to nearby dealer to fill-up the power steering fluid where dealer diagnosed the vehicle with a Major power steering rack failure / leak from the Seal. The mechanic stated this was a big safety concern as the Steering of vehicle could potentially lock up due to the leaked fluid resulting in an accident. South Trail Chrysler deceived me on this deal and left me with a repair work of $2300 which is an immediate replacement, due to the safety concern. The vehicle never complied for safety to even begin with. Called Ahmed at South Trail Chrysler (Sales Manager) and tried to return this vehicle. I advised Ahmed, that Chrysler has no credibility here and I would like to return the vehicle as I’m not comfortable putting my trust in a dealership that has deceived me. Ahmed refused to return the vehicle. Ahmed acknowledged their Technician has made a big mistake and will take responsibility of replacing the rack and pinon. I was given assurance from Ahmed that the Rack and Pinion will be replaced and I’ll be given a proof of repair along with a new inspection report. At the time of pick up they Chrysler printed me a report where the RACK AND PINION was never replaced, but instead the boot was replaced. I requested for a new inspection report of the vehicle and they refused to give. I then took the vehicle to a LEXUS dealer for full inspection right away after feeling deceived again to ensure the repair work was done properly by South Trail. LEXUS inspected and failed the inspection report; see report below from LEXUS. Lexus advised, per the VIN of this vehicle, it was recently diagnosed with a major leak few months ago with the previous owner that decided to trade in the vehicle and not repair the leak. The rack was leaking fluid onto the boot via damaged seal within the rack and pinion; South Trail Chrysler tried to cut corners and did a shady repair by only replacing a $10 boot which hides the leak and cleaned up the leaked fluid. The new boot was connected to the vehicle via a Zip tie and not bolted on the vehicle .Lexus also advised the Rack and Pinion was never removed from the vehicle in order to inspect and locate the leak, as the bolts holding the rack are rusted in and removing the rack will require an alignment. I escalated this issue to the GM of the Dealership Mark Gacek, who called me a liar & advised everything I have said is a lie and he hates liars. I’ll need to leave the dealership immediately for lying. I have never been more disrespected in my life.. Mark also advised I bought the vehicle “AS IS “no warranty. This was not an honest sale. Better Business Bureau has been notified with all the documents, conversation and records. This dealership took no ownership, treated me poorly and proved that all their care about is their money and profit! They will sell you any junk with a false inspection report to make their profit. No responsibility of correcting their mistake was taken here. I would highly recommend of staying away from them. This dealership cannot be trusted. For anyone reading this review, can google and see how a leaking rack and pinion is diagnosed and fixed and read the inspection document below of how Chrysler cut corners on hiding the leak and returned the vehicle to me by performing a shady workaround. For anyone reading this review, can google and see how a leaking rack pinion is diagnosed and fixed and what Chrysler did to me which they call "Repair"

Hello Faisal, It is understandable that you are upset over the situation with your car and we apologize that you are feeling this way. When you purchased the vehicle, the sale documentation was clearly indicated for an “inspection only – no repairs” type of sale and we stand by our inspection with respects to the rack and pinion. When you brought the vehicle back in, we worked with you and replaced the boot like you indicated but we also showed you that there were no leaks while the vehicle was still on the hoist. We are confident that it is still not leaking and we invited you to have the vehicle placed on the hoist a second time to inspect leaks together, but you declined. We did not force nor deceived you to purchase the 10 year old / 240,000 km “inspection only” vehicle. You signed off on all of the paperwork and we have done all that we are obligated to do.

Not good experience . Tire pressure monitor was replaced, problem was not fixed, charged $100 + I was told that I need to change TPMS controller for $400 - i declined. Eventually Tire pressure monitor was changed in another place - no issues. Summary 100$ - lost . Declined repair saved $400+.

I’m amazed with how many hoops yannick had jumped through to get us a vehicle! Super nice and was able to get it to me fast. Not only did I get instant reassurance that I could get a vehicle with our history, but got it to me within only a couple days! Super friendly and caring. I highly suggest this dealership as they can help you with everything with a smile!
