Unfortunately there were many issues and confusing moments during the purchasing process. Trade-in numbers that were agreed to were wrong including the actual price of the new vehicle. Internal south trail employees were confused and frustrated. The process took many many hours, way longer than normal. I have bought new vehicles from other dealers and never had anything close to this kind of experience.In hindsight I probably should have read the situation and simply walked away from the deal, but I didn’t and I hope this was not the wrong decision. Post purchase the customer service was very poor with the sales rep and he ended up leaving south trial without me even knowing. My inquiries were not being responded to which was very frustrating. Outrageous "customer service". I went to SouthTrail after I had been to another dealership to see if they had anything in their inventory that I hadn't been offered elsewhere. The first issue was when the salesman told me he could not give me the price of the vehicle until I was prepared to make an offer. I was also told I had to put down a deposit before they would tell me the actual cost and if that offer was accepted. Would anybody buy a vehicle or any item not knowing the price?! I paid a $500 deposit and was told it would be refunded if the deal didn't happen. I made an offer on this truck based on prices I had been told would be similar at the other dealership. This was declined (not a problem). So I made an offer on another truck (again based on the price I had actually been told elsewhere and to save me having to spend more time travelling and purchasing). The deposit was still in place. The salesman returned to me having told me that he had discussed this with his manager. He tried to fool me into thinking that they were accepting my offer if I paid an extra $800 but in fact, he had hidden the price of my trade-in truck within this amount and so it was actually $7800 more. This was clearly an attempt to con me. When I pointed this out and did not accept this offer, the salesman lost it. I have seen similar tantrums from my teething toddler. He shouted at me and ranted that he had spent several hours helping me and could not understand why I was not buying this vehicle. I pointed out that yes he had spent several hours with me, but that was because he was late to our pre-arranged appointment and left me stood in reception for 30 minutes, he was also serving another customer and myself simultaneously despite my pre-arranged appointment, and I had asked him to have numbers ready for when I got there and this was not done. I asked for my deposit back and was handed a "receipt" with "refund" handwritten on it alongside a signature. I walked away. I realised he had not given me my trade-in truck back and I asked him to go get it. The salesman drove my vehicle up to the doors in such a way that another customer asked me "what's got him rattled?" For a bystander to notice the tantrum that a salesman was having when they have been nowhere near the situation is impressive! The following day there was still no refund in my bank account of the deposit. I called and spoke to the same receptionist who processed my deposit, and she said that she had done the refund and it can take several business days to go into my account. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The following day still no refund of my deposit. I called and asked to speak to a manager. He said he would call me back within an hour. 90 minutes later, still no call. I called and spoke to a different manager who was very dismissive and said no refund had been processed and it was nice weather so I should drive back there and get a refund. I explained I have 3 children and was working night shift and so this was not possible and could they not do it another way? He was uninterested in helping. Two phone calls later and he finally said he would arrange for a cheque to be sent to me. I had been lied to repeatedly about having been given a refund and now I was being made to wait until the following week for a cheque to be issued. Later that day I emailed the General Manager and an e-transfer was arranged. He was the only person at South Trail that actually tried to help and did not lie to me. The staff I encountered lied, tried to cheat and mislead me by manipulating the figures, and were incredibly rude and arrogant. Absolutely awful customer service and I would urge customers to fully check the numbers, check receipts and beware of their "sales tactics". The saving grace is that I got a very good deal elsewhere.

Just wanted to let everyone know of the amazing staff at South Trail Chrysler. My Service Adviser Lewis was amazing to deal with and helpful in getting my issues with my U connect head unit fixed as well as some other work done at the same time. He was very professional and polite and kept me informed on the service the Truck was getting. I have had repair work on and off warranty at this dealership and they were very helpful. Great work Lewis Really appreciate your help. :)

Awesome experience. Certainly in love with my Jeep Wrangler! Jessica Berthelette and her team were very helpful in walking me through the steps of my purchase to ensure I get what I exactly wanted and stay within my budget. Jessica was always ensuring she answers my question which brought reasssurance on my end. Very friendly environment and the coffee machine is a game changer ;)
