A very great experience when purchasing a new to me Ram Sport. Shane Hughes was such a huge help in the search. He knew what we were looking for and kept within the criteria and kept working to find our best option. He was very personable and treated us like family. Would highly recommend Saint Albert Dodge and specifically Shane Hughes.

Shannon and Jay were great guys to deal with. Ladies- if you want a dealer to go to where you aren’t intimidated and genuinely can enjoy buying a new vehicle this is your dealer. I had one of the most unprofessional and shady experiences with this dealership. I went there on June 30th to buy a brand-new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. During the final step, the finance manager (Kiatt) tried to sell a $4,000 GAP insurance that I didn’t want. When I declined, things immediately felt off. After a week of hearing nothing, I texted the sales rep (Sam) to reconsidering the deal. That’s when I was told that the finance manager claimed the bank took away my approval because I supposedly went to another dealership on the same day , which is a complete lie. I never went anywhere else. It was clear they were just trying to punish me for not buying their overpriced add-ons. To make matters worse, on July 14th (two weeks later), they pulled my credit again without my knowledge or consent, which hurt my credit score. When I confronted Sam about it, he said I gave permission - which I never did as I was told that my approval is already gone and then why would they need to pulled my credit. Even more telling, he didn’t even seem to know that the finance manager had pulled it, yet still tried to cover it up. This dealership clearly plays shady games if you don’t agree to their backend products like GAP insurance. Dishonesty, unauthorized credit pulls, and false excuses about loan approvals show exactly what kind of business they are running. I would strongly warn anyone to think twice before trusting them.

The details explained in your review do not match the reality of the situation. If we have a Jeep to sell with an approval from the bank and a willing buyer – we do not overcomplicate things. If you do not purchase additional products offered – we certainly don’t try to ‘punish you’ for this, that makes no sense on any level. There are 8 Jeep dealers in the metro Edmonton area and each day we try to earn the business of customers, not send people away randomly. We prove our reputation each day with potential customers in sales and service by trying to be easy and fair to deal with – as our 100’s of 5-star reviews allude to. Regards, Alan
