Edit #2: I will let the owners response below, gaslighting and scolding me for writing a detailed and honest review on my experience, speak for itself. ---------- Edit: due to my review, St Albert Dodge has cut ties with us and is refusing to fix the damage caused by their staff. Absolutely pathetic and shameful. ---------- I am completely fed up and done with St Albert Dodge after being a loyal customer, buying our last 3 vehicles from here. I recant my previous review after the way I have been treated and the damage done to my SUV by their "service" department. I ran into issues with my 2018 Dodge Durango last spring. We had the service department at St Albert replace my head gaskets. The job was not done properly after $5000 out of pocket repairs, so they had to redo the job the following December. We got the SUV back right before Christmas (on Christmas eve). The engine was shaking profusely and leaking coolant everywhere. There was actual smoke coming from the engine. Of course they were closed for the holidays, leaving my children and I stuck with an unsafe, unreliable, and damaged SUV because the incompetent staff couldn't be bothered to even check over the job they did and rushed to get it back to us. We brought it back in after the holidays, they somewhat addressed the issue by fixing the leaking coolant and smoke, but the engine still sounded rough and was SHAKING. We brought it back in THREE more times (which of course was never documented) and kept telling us "it's fine" as the shaking progressively got worse. I brought my SUV back in last week to have the issues looked at, yet again. The service guy noticed the shaking immediately as well without me even mentioning it yet. My air conditioning has also been "hissing" since I got it back, which ALSO happened after the first time they replaced my head gaskets, and they were able to fix when I brought it back in that time. They told me this time they wouldn't be fixing the air conditioning because "it's fine" (even though I showed them proof of how they fixed it last time, yet they still refused to believe me and denied it) and told me the "engine mounts are broken" as well which was causing the shaking. They said "it wasn't their fault" because they "never went near that area" when replacing the head gaskets. So they said we would have to pay $1500 out of pocket to fix that now. We argued that the engine was fine until right after they touched it in December, and that the shaking started after that. They kept denying it. Said someone would call us about it, yet no one did end up calling. We no longer trust them, so we brought the SUV to another shop to have the engine mounts repaired. The shop asked me why I would think it's the engine mounts. I told them the story. They said that seems HIGHLY UNLIKELY and unusual so they wanted to investigate it first. They took it for a road test and checked it out. Turns out the engine mounts are fine! There is damage with the crank pulley from previous work, done by St Albert Dodge, exactly like we thought in the first place. So St albert Dodge was going to charge us another $1500, out of pocket, to fix something that WASN'T EVEN BROKEN, while leaving the damage THEY caused to my engine. After all the other miscellaneous damage and problems they have already caused to my vehicle. I also want to add that after one of the many times their "mechanics" had my SUV, my key fob sensor (in my trunk - NO WHERE near where they were working) was mysteriously damaged, and they didn't even connect my windshield wipers back to the engine (which I found out while driving with my two young kids on a highway in freezing rain). They have zero regard for the safety of their customers and can't be bothered to check over their work to ensure it's done properly in the first place. Their mechanics are incompetent and negligent. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you for your feedback, we were disappointed to hear you are so unhappy with things here as my service manager, Chris, was dealing in good faith with your husband on the Durango currently. They had discussed the engine mounts in question β they are oil filled and we feel they are leaking. Video we sent from a new vehicle of the pulley you mentioned that looks the same as your vehicle. Based on that, our advice was that the other shop may not have called the required work correctly and before spending your hard-earned money on their recommended repairs to ask some more questions. We were trying to help. We are not refusing to fix damage that we did. We are saying that your claim of the damage being done to the vehicle pulley may not be valid. It looks like you put significant effort into your 1-star review while we were communicating and trying to resolve things. You have zero faith in our staff or abilities which is entirely your prerogative. Our technicians are very highly trained and upgrade their skills frequently. We try hard when we show up here each day but would certainly never claim to be perfect. We stand behind our work and hope to build long-term relationships with our customers. Regards, Alan

This was my second vehicle purchase from this dealership and without fail St Albert Dodge came through and flying colors with fantastic service and extreme ease of purchase. All the sales staff, finance department right up to the store manager were fantastic and went over and above to make it as smooth and seamless purchase. Definitely doing more business there and would recommend it to anyone who is looking.

I have never dealt with a dealership like this before and honestly as long as they're open and employee the same incredible team I will never purchase another vehicle from a different dealership ever again! They went above and beyond for my family in a way I've NEVER seen a dealership do before! I KNOW for a fact they lost money helping us with this current sale for my family, THIS kind of treatment is better than I would expect if MY family owned this dealership! I've even gone as far as contacting AMVIC to leave positive feedback on the salesman Adrian and the sales manager! I truly wish I was blowing smoke, but I'm not. I've never left a dealership a 5 star review before. When I find a dealership I like I'll typically stick with them for a few vehicles. Well that's over and done with now, THIS is my dealership from now on and I VERY VERY HIGHLY suggest too everyone too at the very least give them the chance too earn your buisness! You won't regret it!!!
