Recently had a service appointment gone wrong with another Chevrolet dealership where Rebecca Friesen with SMP Service Department went above and beyond to help me. I purchased a 2024 Chevrolet SUV which had a recall and software issues causing some error codes/check engine light. I called SMP and talked to Rebecca who immediately got everything taken care of. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was done correctly same day and quickly. I can’t thank Rebecca enough for the VIP service and I will 10/10 be calling her for every service appointment in the future!

Salesman-Amillio was professional, attentive & helpful. Wanted to insure we found the SUV that meet our requirements. Logan in finance went the extra mile to insure we got the best financing possible. All staff that we meet were kind and courteous. Will recommend to anyone.

Our family purchased three vehicles from SMP in the last year. The last experience my daughter had was absolutely horrible. She went with the sales person that we used for the other two vehicles, ordered her a vehicle and said it was in Vancouver and would be here is two weeks. My daughter called three weeks later and found out that the salesperson had left (which is totally fine) but my daughter's account hadn't been transferred to anyone else, someone called her the next day and said it's in Vancouver and would be here in a couple weeks, we are now three weeks after she was told that the first time. She stopped into SMP a week later and spoke with Ben, he was very helpful and told her again that it was still in Vancouver and would be a couple weeks, now this was getting ridiculous, when leaving she saw the same car she wanted but in a different colour. Ben let the person know who she was transfered to that she was getting the car that was currently at SMP. That person literally was there to sign the papers and that was it, we hope Ben got something out of it, as he was the nicest most helpful person there. Once financing was done the vehicle was taken home. One week later a double payment was taken out of her account, the bank assumed she had the car since June and took out two payments for July, even though she didn't get get the car till end of July. She called the financial person and he first blamed the bank, then took responsibility and said I made a mistake, he hadn't changed the date on when she got the vehicle, he went with the first date when she ordered the other car. Then a week later another payment was taken out. This is a 19 year old buying their first car and three payments taken out in one week. Not at all the banks fault, but SMP's. All she got is, well your car will be paid off sooner. We are not impressed and WILL NOT recommend anyone to buy a car there!!! Didn't try to compensate her in anyway.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience your daughter experienced during this process. This is absolutely not the level of service we strive to provide at Saskatoon Motor Products, and I understand how disappointing this situation must have been, especially for your daughter's first car purchase. We take full responsibility for the miscommunication and the issues with the payment process. This should not have happened, and we're genuinely sorry for the stress this has caused. I truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we are committed to making it right. Please reach out to me directly at your earliest convenience at 306-242-0276. My name is Gord Mansfield, and I am the General Manager here at SMP. Again, we apologize for this experience and hope we have the opportunity to restore your confidence in us.
