drive by in the morning and see a truck I liked with a sold sign. I chatted with them in the afternoon and was told its available, an appt was made to come see the truck ( deals fall through all the time) i drive 45 mins 1 way to see the truck to be told its sold. of course a more expensive truck was waiting for a test but was this the bait and switch car dealers do all the time to get a sale?? my gut says yes but can i prove it was? No I can not. either way they are very disorganized or they fibbed. both traits i wouldn't especially want in a long term business relationship. 2 stars as it was a below standard experience for me

You may not be aware that there is a global shortage of microchips. This has shut down several automotive manufactures’ plants leading to a shortage of new vehicle inventory, especially trucks. Additionally, covid had created a situation in that although a client is employed, they may be on temporary layoff. The majority of new vehicle purchaser’s finance. If the purchaser is on a temporary layoff the banks will not approve financing. As a result, we are seeing about 30% of offers to purchase declined by the finance institutions. This combined with the shortage of inventory has created a short-term environment where we accept an offer to purchase from client A, plus offer client B & C if they wish to write a back up offer. In this situation client A may be approved or declined, the same may happen with client B & C etc. The result is there may be situations where a vehicle is marked sold but may still be for sale pending finance approval.

I just purchased a 2021 Ram 1500 Classic. I had an excellent experience with Wellington motors. My sales guy was Andrew McCormack and other than being a Leafs fan he was great. I got the truck I wanted and he threw in running boards at no cost. My truck had a small dent on the hood that we missed and Andrew has arranged for it to be fixed as well. Michelle was my finance lady and she was great( and a Habs fan bonus). I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Ram.

Alex was an excellent salesman who sold me a Kia Soul. He gave me all the information I needed to make a decision without pressure. I came back several times and he was as professional the first time as he was the last. He got in touch after the sale to make sure everything was going well. And he has given me complete information AFTER the sale on accessories I am interested in. I highly recommend this salesperson.

I introduced myself to Andrew MacCormack by email via their website regarding existing stock of a 2020 Ram Limited that i was interested in. Andrew was attentive & polite w/ informative responses to my emails & calls regarding trim /tech levels etc & then onto trade in value of my 2016 Ram .We completed the transaction a few days after initial contact. I remain impressed with the way Andrew steered the transaction with a decent market trade in value of my '16 and a smooth delivery of a reasonably out the door priced Ram.

Had a great experience at Wellington Motors! I purchased a red Jeep Wrangler that I love! Alex was a super helpful salesperson. He gave me all the information I needed to make an informed purchase that I am so so happy with. He wasn’t trying to sell me on anything, he was assessing my needs and trying to find the car that would be best suited for me so I would be happy. Michelle helped me with the financial process of purchasing the vehicle and was excellent. This was my first time purchasing a car so I was intimidated by the process of getting the financing all together but Michelle made it seamless. She explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand and made me feel super comfortable with the process. I really can’t thank the team at Wellington Motors enough for their professionalism and guidance. I am so happy with my purchase and I am glad I went to Wellington Motors! My uncle bought a brand new truck from these guys. Over a year later, he still has issues with his audio unit after multiple attempts at the fixing the issue. They only care about the initial sale. They don't care if they sell you a faulty product as they blame the manufacture and think they have no part in the quality of product they sell. The dealership recently replaced the audio unit for the 2nd time and still they gave me a defective unit that is constantly malfunctioning. After 6 visits with the dealership for the same issue, we still don't have a solution for my problem. Poor service and even worse quality of product.

Sam, I completely agree that you should not have to return multiple times to have an issue resolved. Yes I am blaming the manufacturer, although Wellington Motors sell the product we did not design or build it, and yes it is correct we have no part in the quality of the product design or build. We have followed FCA's required diagnostic process and replace the radio on multiple occasions with the FCA supplied exchange unit. To state " they only care about the the initial sale" and we "don't care if they sell you a faulty product" is completely inaccurate. If this were the case we would not have pressed FCA for a NEW replacement unit and not another exchange unit. We will reach out to your uncle when it arrives, install it and cross our fingers you have no further issues. Again, If you feel this is poor service please let me know and we will cancel the NEW [not exchange unit] radio that we have pressed FCA to provide and your welcome to find another dealer to try and do better.
