I always have great experiences at Roy Nichols. Their staff are courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. I feel confident when having my car repaired by them that the job is going to be done right.

I was not impressed with the service i received getting my back brakes serviced. I booked the appointment a week ahead for first thing in the morning 7:30 am. I took a vacation day to get this job done and to get other things done that day. I expected the job would take no more then 2 to 3 hours. It took almost 9 hrs. All that was done was rotors and pads. Free up some cables and replace a spring. I received a call at 4:33pm to tell me it was ready. This job should have been done before noon. Why make an appointment a week ahead for first thing in the morning so you can get your vehicle within a few hours. And then having to wait all day to have a maximum 3 hour job take 9hours. I am not sure what time the mechanics start. but if they start at 8:00am this should have been done before noon. Also there is grease on my drivers door from the machinic and on my two rear quarter panels. The drivers seat was pushed almost all the way forward and not returned to even close to where it was when the job was finished. This was not customer service. This was just a number and money. When it comes to towing, these people don’t bother to step out of their comfort zone and come outside to show me where to drop the car. You wait for someone to show up, but no one seems to care — as if they don’t even need the cars for service. When I finally go inside to ask where a good spot is, they just point vaguely and say, “anywhere along that side.” I’m not sure if they realize that a tow truck isn’t a toy car — I need proper space to work safely. The staff at the front are unprofessional, and this has happened multiple times. I doubt their customers are even aware of this, because when it comes to towing, no one here seems bothered to help or show any interest.

I removed my car out of the Buick , GMC dealer in down town Bowmanville because it required some straight forward work and they made my vehicle run awful. They couldn’t figure out what they did wrong. I spent $1800 for this headache. I then took it to Roy Nichols and seen Gord who had an answer for me in two hours. Turned out It had a misfire ,broken new spark plug and ,a broken coil for reasons that were not present before. The throttle body service was also done incorrectly ( not calibrated ). Gord was extremely professional and I would trust them to fix my car again. It has not run this smooth since new. Thanks so much …….. D Boon.

Aaron was fantastic at Roy Nichols. He went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. He was so easy to deal with, friendly and outgoing. He answered all of our questions and explained everything thoroughly to us. He made the purchasing experience seamless. Highly recommend Aaron if you're looking to purchase a vehicle (new or cpo). 10/10 experience. Thank you!

I picked up my GMC Acadia on Friday after collision repairs that were the result of an accident that occurred on May 17th. I was so pleased when I picked up the vehicle which looked like it just rolled off the line. The work was flawless and the professionals at Nichols went the extra mile to make sure everything was completed before returning the vehicle. I would highly recommend using Nichols for any vehicle repairs. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and kept me informed of the progress. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Have dealt with Roy Nichols servicing all vehicles for about 15 years. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Lisa is my service advisor and my mechanic I have requested for likely 10 years—I have absolutely no doubt that all work done is required and completed by an expert!
