SERVICE DEPARTMENT SENT VEHICLE OUT ON ROADS UNSAFE!, I’m not sure if the service department has competent or knowledgeable staff. My father-in-law had his winter tires swapped recently at this location. He asked me for help with his re-torque after he drove the recommended mileage. When I got there to help with this, I realized that several lug nuts had been warped, probably from using impact tools. A competent mechanic, such as myself, would not let a vehicle leave with warped/stripped lug nuts for many reasons. I recommended that he take his vehicle back and make them make it right. The service department told him that only one of the lugs was bad enough to be changed and to use the proper socket. Thanks for the lesson on sockets… but we will be taking our service elsewhere. Do not trust a service department that sends vehicles on the road unsafe!
