Month long fiasco with these guys that ended with my car being damaged by their incompetence and me having to pay for their misdiagnosis. If you value your time, money, peace of mind, and the proper functioning of your vehicle then avoid Cambrian Ford like the plague. I brought my car in for some recall work for the air bags and these guys messed up the electronics of my vehicle. My car started having rpm spikes as I accelerated the vehicle immediately after the work was done while I was driving out of the parking lot of the dealership, so I brought my car back in right away. It was a Tuesday when this happened and they ended up keeping my car for nearly a week so I only got it back next Monday morning. I called and spoke with the service team every day while they "investigated" the situation. All the while they were trying to flip the situation on to me so that they could blame me for what they thought was a mechanical issue that just coincidently happened to start as soon as the recall work was done. At the end of their "diagnosis" they claimed that it was a transmission issue but they couldn't give any details of its origin and in their report they just went out of their way to cover their butts. They told me that I should just drive the car till it fails, that there was nothing else that could be done, and of course they charged me about $300. Later on I called a buddy of mine who used to work for Ford and he told me that the car probably just needed a software reset, so I went over to his place and we did that with his scan tool, and after a few rides the problem resolved. Then about a few weeks later I got a message from Cambrian Ford saying that they believed there was an issue with the installation of the recall part and they wanted me to bring the car back in. I tried to have the work file transferred to another Ford dealership that I trusted but Cambrian absolutely would not allow me to do that, so I brought it back in. I ended up losing another day so they could take a look at my vehicle. As soon as they did whatever that did in this re-inspection of my car it started having the same issue with rpm spikes that it had developed after the first appointment. The exact same problem developing after the exact same type of work being done on my car can't be a coincidence and so I called up Cambrian Ford to discuss what had happened. The management was very unreceptive, they offered me bs solutions that wouldn't change anything, flat out refused any reimbursement for the week long inspection and absolutely denied any responsibility saying that the same situation could happen 5 times over and they wouldn't care. I live out of town so had to say in hotels for days while Cambrian "worked" on my car and I even had to miss work because of these guys. My car was perfectly functional prior to the work I had at this dealership, I know because I had it seen by a mechanic recently for a full inspection while it was still under warranty. Now I am out hundreds of dollars, left with a vehicle that has some strange electronic issue and so this is the quality service that you can expect from Cambrian Ford. My advice to other motorists, don’t go to these guys, if you need Ford specific services then try Savage Ford in West Nipissing.

Sales reps are unprofessional and biased, unless you are above the age of 50 they will not even make eye contact with you, if you inquire for service they will not consider your needs in finding a vehicle. I used to think the service center was the only reason to continue services with Cambrian but recently having a tire rotation, clearly it had not be completed and they marked the same tread depths on all four tires, the rear two are under half life.

Have been trying to get interior pictures of a truck listed on their site for multiple days now. Spoken with three different agents none of which have been able to email the requested photos. I don’t understand the difficulty in providing basic information. it shouldn’t take 8-10 + emails
