I purchased a very low mileage VW Eos from Mark at Orillia VW in September 2016. Unfortunately within the first day of driving the car back to Toronto, we experienced some mechanical issues with the retractable roof. I spoke with the Service Department and they agreed to fix the problem at no cost to me. Although it took a couple of attempts to fix the issue (as the mechanism is unbelievably complicated!) they were eventually able to fully address the issue just before our first major snowfall in late October! The car is running beautifully through the worst that this Toronto winter is throwing at it... just hope that the roof is still fixed when it gets warm enough to open it again this Spring :)

Mark did a great job finding me a car. After that it went down hill. On the second starting of the car the starter started to make high pitched squealing sound. I sent my son back to the dealership to show the problem to service. He came home and said he was told the noise was a normal sound, he also said that he felt he was talked down to since he is only 18. I called the next day and explained the problem and was told the same normal sound line. If that sound was heard before the sale it would have been fixed. I was told it would not be fixed. But I was given an insurance that if it did break within 6 months it would be fixed under warranty. Little comfort if it strands my son in a snow storm. The sound is the bendex on the starter not pulling back from the fly wheel. The second week with the car and the left front tire went flat and the emergency brake broke in my sons hand. I called to ask what the procedure was for getting these items fixed. I was told that I would get a call back soon to tell me what to do. I am still waiting for that call. After refilling the tire for the 4th time its holding.

There were a few minor repairs needed before picking up my car on day of purchase. I was booked to pick up at 6:00pm that evening and arranged someone to bring me, return of my rental car, leaving work early because they close early. Received a call at 12:30 car was not ready so had to reschedule to pick up. Upon picking up my vehicle, the repairs were not all completed however was so tired of waiting for the vehicle. A week later, my check engine light came on (and was on when I test drove the car before purchasing). Had to bring in my new vehicle. Advised that a part needed to be replaced (which I was told was replaced at time of purchase) when really the part was only cleaned. Advised to have repairs that were to be done before purchase pick up to be completed. No phone call advising when to pick up so called Monday as I was told I would hear from them Saturday. Advised I was getting my winter tires on the car that night so needed to pick up. Approx. 2 weeks later my check engine light came on again and back the car had to go as something came up "on the computer". Needless to say, the general manager attempted to be accommodating, the service manager also attempted however not once was anything offered compensation-wise for my time and frustration for the inconvenience. I would not return to purchase a vehicle there again as I found that this should have all be dealt with BEFORE purchase and new parts on repairs BEFORE purchase.

Excellent staff. Prompt in returning questions and concerns about buying a new vehicle. Could have used a better general inspection before sale. Two minor scratches in the paint and a buldge in the spare tire.
