I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by Barrhaven Mazda staff. I am made to feel welcomed and the service department staff are friendly, efficient and fast. In my 40 years owning a vehicle the Mazda experience far outweighs any other automotive dealership. Zoom Zoom!

As I stated above the work (oil change etc.) was done quickly and I was taken at my appointed time.

I never asked for synthetic oil, which I do not use, at $70+ for an oil change. Should have asked if I wanted synthetic oil! Unfortunately, although you are closer, I will return to Kanata Mazda where I originally bought the mazda 3.

I am a returning Mazda customer as I find the cars to be very fun to drive and I've never really had a problem with them. The price for the used Mazda 3 we were looking at was unbeatable. However, the service we had was terrible. We visited the new dealership 3 times in total. The first time we spent a lot of time negotiating the price, which is part of the game - this was fine. However, towards the end of the conversation the Finance Manager became very pushy. After about an hour of us telling him we did not want to spend a penny more and that we were not interested in warranty packages he kept cutting us off and trying to persuade us to buy one. He did not listen to us or try to address our concerns but was only focused on reciting his sales script/pitch. Our second visit was scheduled for 9:30 AM the next morning and we still waited for around one hour for him to see us. At this point, we had accepted to buy the vehicle but he still pushed over and over again to sell us a package - or anything really! We left frustrated but at least, we told ourselves, we had bought a nice car and it was our last time negotiating. The next time we visited was to pick up our car. We spent two hours at the dealership even though we had scheduled a pick up at 9:30 AM. To our disappointment, our new car was not properly cleaned (stains on the inside of the car and pieces of tape on the handles). Furthermore, we were asked to wait in the lobby for our plates because they had not had the chance to pick them up yet. And lastly, as we left we noticed that the gas tank was filled up only 3/4 of the way. As we sat down with the Finance Manager, we then noticed that we were being charged more then what we had previously agreed on. It wasn't by a lot but we still did not understand why and he could not explain it to us. His calculations never added up to the correct amount. It clearly looked like he had made a mistake but he would not admit to one. Finally, he said we could print another bill of sale with the correct amount but this would take ''way too much time''. Seeing that we were frustrated he decided to give us a 20$ bill from his own wallet '' to make us feel better''. How insulting. To think that all this could be repaired by a 20$ bill? The meeting ended by him admitting that he forgot to let us know about the paperwork we were supposed to bring to make the payment. Of course we received a call about an hour later asking us to email him the paperwork... We found the service extremely unprofessional and we would recommend anyone to go to another Mazda dealership if they have the choice.

Good day, I recently purchased a used vehicle from Mazda Barrhaven. It was a 2009 Ford Edge, certified and e-tested. I realize I purchased it with no warranty. However after owning the vehicle for 2 weeks and less than 1000 km's put on it I am very disappointed with the dealership. After getting it home, I have had to replace the wipers, top up the brake fluid, power steering fluid, the antifreeze and could determine the transmission fluid had not been checked. The tire pressure on the rear tires was at 20 lbs each. I had the vehicle in at a Ford dealership where they had to replace the rear hubs and replace the rear axle seals. The battery connections were very corroded and will have to be replaced soon. With all that was found I will never purchase another vehicle from any Mazda dealer and will ensure that my feelings are noted on social media. Your home page states - That's why our Mazda Certified Pre-Owned program only certifies well-maintained vehicles from recent model years.- In this case they failed.
