I bought a 2011 bmw x5 in june with 97000km and 2year warranty for nearly 20000 dollars cash and have had nothing but issues with it replace tires ,brake pads, dust shield ,tennsioner ,door seal and now ive had a engine problem redused power ive done nothing but put money into this car i asked when buying this x5 what would be the best warrenty to purchase i bought the second best one when something brakes its not covered or theres is hidden content im so done with bmw when asked why so many things go wrong after paying for a car in the first 4 months i get told thats what to expect when buying a car 10 years old that i should expect to pay 2-5000 dollars a year for repairs on this car i feel like i was taken advantage of being a first time customer not knowing anything about bmw im not sure what eles to say other then if your going to buy a used bmw buy the very best warrenty available or you will pay twice as much as the purchase price of the car within the first 4 years which is so depressing i have not been able to enjoy my purchase since i bought the car the year june 19 2020 for my birthday

Ok, you want to hear the reason for the one star. The service department and parts department people are dishonest and incompetent. I will never come to your dealership again. I am not the only one who has this opinion. Take a look at your other reviews on here. Are those people wrong ? Seems to be a trend. Scammers and liars. If you want the whole package, then come here and be prepared to be taken advantage of. I am not saying the brand is bad, just this particular location. Make the drive out of town to another dealer. You wont be disappointed elsewhere. You people are unethical and dishonest.

This is the worst BMW dealership. Look at the profiles with 5 stars but only one review. (Looks like fake reviews) Salespeople will try to rip you off with highly inflated numbers that don’t even make any mathematical sense. So if you’re looking to buy a car just look for prices online and go to a different dealership for better service.

I've been dealing with BMW London for nearly 10 years now and my experiences have been more or less the same since the first time I walked in. No one will greet you or even acknowledge you are there. Not even a nod or a wave. Parts department takes forever to get someone to actually help you. You ring the bell and you wait. And you wait. And you wait some more. Eventually someone will help you but no one seems happy about it. And on the topic of parts, I find most of the time the prices charged on items are always higher than what shop.bmw.ca lists them as. Sometimes as much as 50% more. I'm not sure what the deal is there, but on my last parts order it would have been cheaper to order it on shop.bmw.ca and drive to Pfaff BMW to pick it up or have them ship it. You'd think there'd be some uniformity on parts pricing. And the thing that really rubs me the wrong way about that is I'm calling in with part numbers. The person on the other end of the phone doesn't even have to do anything for me, just place my order. As far as service work goes, I've had some warranty work done there which has been okay but there was one experience with one of my E39s that really rubbed me the wrong way. I took the car in with a catalyst low efficiency code. I had replaced the catalyst and rear oxygen sensors prior to admitting defeat and taking it in to BMW London. Their service tech working on my car sunk several billable hours into the car and determined I needed to replace the already new o2 sensors in the rear at $300+ a pop or they would not continue to work on the car. The oxygen sensors I had just installed were confirmed working via scan data before I took the car in but rather than eat several hours of diagnostic work and still have a malfunctioning car, I just agreed to their outrageously priced parts and demanded my old sensors back. Well, the new sensors did not fix the issue (surprise!) and the techs had to actually figure out what the problem was which meant more diagnostic costs. At the end of the day it was a chafed wire, which should have cost pennies to fix should the tech have actually used some diagnostic skills, but being strong armed into buying overly expensive parts I knew I didn't need and then not getting my old parts back just made me furious. From that moment on I've not brought any of my BMWs to BMW London for service beyond no cost to me warranty work. But back to my original complaint, the lack of service or even acknowledging me when I enter the showroom. On 2020/10/31 I went to try and get a couple of parts because I was stuck and couldn't order them online. Again, not one person in that building acknowledged my presence and let me get all the way over to parts just to discover it was closed on my own. Loads of people just sitting in their offices. That's poor service. In future I'm just going to take my business to Sarnia Fine Cars, even if it is inconvenient to do so. They always greet me warmly when I go in there and their parts department has gone out of their way to accommodate me on a couple of occasions. I've had enough of the poor service at BMW London. I'm giving two stars because the handful of times my cars have been in for service, the shuttle driver was very nice. That said, cheaping out on loaner cars is a pretty bad move for a 'premium brand'.
