Mazda 3 goes from half the proper amount of auto tranny fluid too a litre or more too much....thanks Mazda 3 service guy.

I go to Mazda dealership on LSD North Bay...my 2010 Mazda 3 was having tranny slipping issues, so I check the fluid...it's half way between the low notch and full notch. I'm no mechanic but I know a bit, so I go to buy a litre of automatic transmission fluid, I explain how I checked the dip stick and it was half full. The service guy asks me if one litre of tranny fluid will be enough or not...so I ask how much the reservoir held. TEN LITRES he said. Ten litres? Really? Well maybe I should get 5 litres then if it's half full on the dip stick...right? He nodds, the "mechanic" nods, the other young woman who went and got the 5 litres from the back all seemed to agree. I go home and get the funnels I needed, put only three litres in it....that should be enough...if it's half full and the reservoir holds 10 litres. I find out later after wondering why the dip stick shows WAY TOO MUCH FLUID. Now this was under the direct instructions from the Mazda dealership...I'm pissed...really? Is this another cruel joke in my life?

I purchased a new vehicle (2021 Mazda CX-5) May 21st, I completed my paperwork with the finance manager (Cody) and then was taken out to the vehicle by another sales rep (Darren) as the sales manager (Rob) who I completed the deal with was away that day. I was only asked if I would be willing to take a picture with my new vehicle and if I needed help with syncing my phone, then saying I would be receiving a customer survey from Mazda and anything short of excellent they consider a fail. Nothing else was gone over with me, then I got in a drove away. I noticed about an hour after picking it up that it had two small gouges in the bumper, a scratch above the license plate and scratches in the rear passenger door sill. The next evening when my boyfriend got home he opened the hood and noticed a clip that was missing, assuming this was from when they installed the rust module. I have owned 2 new Hondas previously and was always at the dealership 30-60 minutes after completing the paperwork to go over the vehicle. I shouldn't have been so trusting and excited as this has caused me a few headaches since I purchased this. Rob the sales manager had offered to take my vehicle to get repaired, even offered for me to pick my shop of choice. However, I bought a brand new vehicle, the paint wouldn't be the same. I wanted to return the vehicle so I could go elsewhere as I was very dissatisfied with the service and treatment I was receiving, I had also stated if I could not return if a exchange would be possible. I was given the excuse that Scotia Bank (whom I financed through) would not allow a return or exchange. I had called Scotia Bank myself to which they had said they have nothing to do with exchanges and it was the dealership who makes those decisions for exchanges. Scotia Bank was also not aware of the damage to my vehicle so I have forwarded all emails to them for review as they requested them. Rob had also told my boyfriend that the damage must have come from the dealership they got the vehicle from. My bill of sale also did not have the listed kms, nor was that information gone over with me during my purchase. I feel they have been dishonest trying to avoid a loss over customer service. I will NEVER go out of town to another dealership again, let alone this one. I regret my decision in purchasing a vehicle from North Bay Mazda and will never take my business there again.

My husband and I purchased a new car here a couple of months ago and we were very impressed with the professionalism and excellent customer service we received from the sales and financing departments. What I most appreciated was that they weren't pushy. After our initial visit we went home to think about it before making a decision, and the sales representative was courteous, gave us the information we needed to help us make our decision, then let us go in peace. We came back and bought the car of course, and everything went smoothly from there. We love our new car and feel we made a great choice.

Initially I was happy with the service at NB Mazda. Everyone was friendly and polite and I felt confident about my purchase five months ago. While driving in the last week the vehicle began to feel unstable while turning and made noises while going over bumps. I brought it in to a mechanic just to be safe and it turns out I need four parts replaced. I spoke to NB Mazda and they said there was nothing they could do to help as I had passed the 36 day warranty.
