I bought my 2015 Golf TDI in 2019. In February 2022 the Adblue warning light came on (500 km the car will not start). The dealer took the car in and gave me a loner with no knowledge of when the part would come in. It is now December 2023 and the dealer says the part is at least another 6 months away… there is no evidence that the part is ever coming. VW customer support say they care about the customer and the costs involved but they are now $27k + in rental car cost it will be $5k + to make my car road worthy, with no end in site. The car has been sat outside in all elements and is now rusting as the rust prohibitor is powered by the battery which is now dead. The dealer is trying to facilitate a trade assistance but VW Canada are not cooperating. The lack of true oversight and integrity is shameful! Update December 10th 2023, VW Canada are insisting that the part will come and that they will do everything to bring my car back to the condition it was when it arrived. It is still continuing to rust outside! With no end in site! I went to take a look at my car a couple of days ago and found the car unlocked with the contents of the glove box strewn around including insurance and ownership papers! Now being told that there will be no other resolution, I have asked the dealer to start getting my car cleaned up and repaired under the warranty and prevent the rust from getting worse. That was several weeks ago and no response. Looks like it will be another battle even when the part shows up! Yet another example of disrespect and no customer care! Good job VW!

With regards to the issue of rust in your vehicle, we replaced the battery so the rust module would work once more. We are sorry this was not communicated to you in a more timely manner. I have never been to a more friendlier dealership. Everyone you meet is so kind. They keep you in the loop at all times even when they don’t have too. I want to give a big shout out to Amanda, Lesley and Martin. They were fantastic! This dealership listens and gets you into the vehicle of your dreams. I am so thankful I walked in there.

This has got to be the absolute worst dealership I've ever dealt with. I bought a 2016 golf from them 6 months ago and have not stopped having issues with the car. From lights coming up regarding the power train the day I got the keys to a clutch that has completely seized, this car has had issues. The dealership has done the repairs up until now and even offered a one year warranty (on the second issue out of the 7 or so the car has had), but my biggest gripe has to be that there is no communication from anyone. I waited for 3 weeks to hear back about my car when I dropped it off once and no one would tell me anything. I called dozens of times only to get voicemails of people who would never answer. I actually only got my car back by constantly emailing the sales manager until I heard anything. Now it's come time to change over to winters (first time I'm changing the tires on the car) and one of the lock nuts is totally stripped. I've called about 10 times to try and get a service appointment and have only managed to speak to one person who pretty bluntly stated "we don't have any appointments". I've tried communicating with the sales rep, Martin, who (as usual) has completely blown me off and won't even answer. If you're thinking of buying a car from here, don't. Take your business to someplace that wil respect you as a customer or at least have the audacity to communicate with you.
