With the great help of Amun at Murray Hyundai I was able to trade in my Elantra for my dream car (a Jeep wrangler)! I had no idea he could help me find a brand new vehicle outside of Hyundai, in which he met me down at murray dodge jeep ram on pembina to show me vehicles. I could have gone to the dealership alone but he came and guided me to find the perfect fit from start to finish. This really stood out to me as he went above and beyond to the utmost. I was also appreciative of his transparency, often we become focused on certain wants in a car forgetting about needs. Amun was able to find a middle ground that met both my needs and wants in a vehicle. Along with his prompt attentiveness I was provided the best customer service I’ve experienced at any dealership. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to buy a vehicle, of any brand. Amun can find you your dream car and provide the most seamless transition into your new ride. Definitely the best salesman in the province! Maybe even in Canada. Thank you for exceeding my expectations!

Zero trust, would never ever go back. I used to live in the neighborhood and I would drive 25 minutes just to go do a different Hyundai dealership. Their service center does not care about you or your car, they just want your money. Their bad advice and service caused my Santa Fe to die well before its time. They ignore real problems, while over charging for small fixes. I wouldn't trust anyone here, it must be rotten to the core. The sales staff has overtly lied to me about cars and their features. This is my least favorite place of business in Winnipeg.

I've been to every Hyundai location in the city, and Murray Hyundai was the only one that gave me greasy/sketchy car salesman vibes. The salesman Amun Mayol was not honest or ethical whatsoever and attempted to grossly overcharge me for a vehicle. When I asked about the price he quoted and why it was so much higher than anywhere else in the city, he informed me that the price included a mandatory $2000 Murray accessory package that couldn't be removed from the total price. And actually, at first he made it sound like he was generously throwing in all these accessories for free until I twisted the actual truth out of him (a herculean task). Part of his whole sales shtick was showing us how reliable Hyundai was compared to other brands in an older report. When we asked to see reports for other years (including a more recent one), Hyundai was ranked much lower on reliability. He was just cherrypicking results instead of being honest and upfront. I told him to give me his best offer, because if I walked out the door I wouldn't be coming back, and the offer was an insult to my intelligence. Yes, they are very polite but don't make the mistake of conflating that with trustworthiness. It was like watching a smarmy robot attempt to build rapport after watching a single YouTube video on building rapport. If you do have the desperate misfortune of needing to go to this dealership in particular for some reason, do TONS of research first, and ask LOTS of questions about the exact breakdown of the price, and go to the other Hyundai locations first to know what the price actually is before dealing with these slimies. I would not trust anything they say about the condition of a used vehicle either, given the lack of transparency while discussing a new vehicle. I would strongly recommend that you do not leave your critical thinking hat at the door or you'll be taken advantage of. My impression after my experience here is that their philosophy is to put an extra $100 in their pocket on a single transaction rather than giving a fair deal and making a lifelong customer out of someone. For me personally, I'd rather wait 8 months to order something new through another dealership than ever deal with Murray Hyundai again, and I would advise you to stay away too. The only positive thing I can say is that they have a cute dog there, and I'm sorry that adorable baby angel has to bear witness to the sleaziest deals all day. EDIT: The fact that he got his girlfriend to leave a false 5 star review calling him the best car salesman in Canada in response to my review tells you everything you need to know about the ethics of Murray Hyundai employees 😂.

Another great experience at Murray Hyundai! Debbie is a fantastic service advisor, and I always appreciate knowing my vehicle is in good hands. The Service Cashier, I think her name is Katie, was helpful with explaining about my warranty as well. My one complaint is that Juno, the DOG, was not scheduled to work that day.

Booked appointment online, got a call a couple days later saying I needed to book a weekday because the service I had selected couldn't be completed on weekends. Fine. Then I get a call the day before my appointment to confirm, and they didn't have the service correct and had to push the date again... Of the service that THEY BOOKED. Then I arrive, and there is no record of the second part of the service and they need to book me in while I wait in the service bay. I tell them the issue I want fixed. They then send me a request for $3000 worth of service including a bunch of things that I never asked for AND one of the recommended fixes was front pads and rotors WHICH WERE CHANGED 3 MONTHS AGO. Oh, and when I got the car back the e-brake still didn't work (which was one of the issues I asked them to fix). UPDATE: Brakes started rubbing again on one of the wheels within the week. I emailed them and was told I'd get a call back Tuesday. That never happened.

Murray Hyundai is not willing to match other Hyundai dealers prices and from my experience were charging up to $4000.00 more for extra warranties that are optional at other dealerships. $2500 of the price they gave was unspecified or general “dealership fees.” This is only the dealership to go if you want to be charged more for the same car available elsewhere. They are not transparent with their prices and don’t like when you ask what some of the fees are for.
