I worked at the Oil Change Drive thru for 2 months. so i saw alot go down. Besides getting No Training at all and getting to work on people's cars might of been a big mistake. The thing i was Most Upset about was the fact that almost every car that would come in the mechanics would make up problems just so they would get a bigger paycheck. I remember the Mechanic Dave, Andy,Brian would do this all the time and make jokes about the people paying them to change perfect parts. how i got the job , i took my sebring in for the 3rd time and since they couldn't fix it the first time i thought maybe i could fix it and gave them a resume and they hired me on the spot. While i worked there i also made the mistake of buying a truck from one of the mechanics, from everyone in the shop telling me to buy it and that i was getting a good deal, i didn't know what i was getting myself into..i just felt really bad that they would rip off a kid who was looking to get a better vehicle after no one in the shop could fix my previous vehicle.... working for finch made me decide on not going through with being a mechanic, sure i did learn a lot of important things for vehicles, but i also learned that most dealership mechanics are scammers. PLEASE if you're reading this don't make the mistake of taking your vehicle there, THEY WILL SCAM YOU and if you don't think they will you're wrong.. the honda dealership beside is better, but the best bet would take your car to any NAPA shop.. The NAPA shop in westmount has really good mechanics that you can trust!! i also took my sebring to the NAPA shop and they fixed it the 1st time. i put about 1K into the truck before donating it to a school. Also if you're employee who works there and you remember me, i'm just being honest, i didn't like working for shady people doing shady things to loyal customers. i'm also not trying to say you're all bad, it's just 75% of the mechanics in the shop and maybe Fred i never really liked him..
